Every single defensive punch seemed to go back to a free pies player who played on quickly and we couldn't man up.

Yes but It's a strong draft , but players in return is the priorty.We didn't trade at all last year so I dont think 4 trades is over the top.I would like to see another 'A grader ' besides Lynch come in.Someone like Coniglio , Allir , Heeny , Oliver or dare I say it Gaff.

Conca has no trade value as he is an Unrestricted Free Agent. Plus we will get no compo for him as we are getting Tom Lynch.

Sorry but caddy ain’t a midfielder...... he’s best in the posi he’s been playing since he came from cats.

He hasn't impressed me when he plays in the middle. How about reboot the Vlas >> midfield experiment? Bring Garth IN. Grimes plays on the smalls. Play BEllis on the wing....backline is our 4 talls plus Short& Houli.
I've gone off Conca after poor finals games. & Jack Graham has to be dropped if not performing

Screw Griffiths left us in a hole this year one short just before final list change .He knew is time was up why didn't he come to a settlement with the club,instead waited for the concrete deal from America and then left us hanging to dry retiring.Very nice way to say thank you for all the support.We were basically 2 talls down from rd 1 as we knew Hammer is injury prone to.Can't have that.

I hope Baker becomes a mid; Stengle looks to be OUT. I'd rather keep the trio Butler, Castag, Rioli. If a good offer came for Bellis you'd take it. But after some spud-like efforts in the last final, he'd walk straight back into the side.

People are going nuts. We won 19 of possible 24 games and some are suggesting 9-10 list changes trading away all our depth for 18 year olds. Hampson and griff obviously gone, Drummond delisted, miles and c Ellis traded/delisted. We will then probably lose 1 more of either Townsend/conca/Lloyd. From the rookie list Stengle and Moore will leave, chol delist and baker elevated. With lynch coming in that leaves us with four picks in the draft and an open rookie list. If we decided to trade for another ready to go mid I think we might delist Towner but commit to re rookie.

The likelihood of trading in a good mid is not high based on the salary which Lynch will command. Need to back what we’ve got and find a gem in the draft.
