Yes sorry I got mixed up.Trade Bellis ,Cellis and Miles to Gold coast and give the return picks and a second rounder to GWS.So it would be something like picks 27,38,40 and 65 for Scully.Doesn't sound that appetising I admit, but GWS may need the points and may have to free up salary cap.Another idea, pick 35 and Astbury for Scully.

Multiple depth players do not = star player. Thats not how trades work.
Cellis and Miles would be list cloggers for them, Brellis would struggle to make the 22.

GWS don't normally go as deep as pick 27 in any draft!

GWS could pick up the SA captain in the draft and save cap if it suited them. Essendon and CFC in the mix for Setterfield but not sure what they were willing to put up. One poster suggested he was a Essendon supporter before draft

That is 1.67m. Add on the 500k from the three pay cuts takes it to about 2.2
Minus 850 from Lynch takes it down to 1.37m.

Minus resignings takes of another say, 600k.

We have another 700k to play with minus whatever cap space we had left before signing and delisting.

We COULD fit Scully in with a little shuffling.

Lets breakdown the yet to be named WB midfielder:

• McCare re-signed this season, so cross him off your list.
• As did Wallis and Mclean, so cross those two off your list.
• Mark Stevens has come out tonight saying Liber is on the very of re-signing with more to come after their bnf tonight.

That leaves Bontempelli and Dunkley who are both OOC at the end of next year. Now Bontempelli would be completely off limits and would cost the world if he said he wanted to out. That leaves Dunkley who has history with RFC given his time he spent here in draft year both playing VFL and using our facilities throughout the week. Dunkley has just broken out in the back end of this season once given an opportunity to be the in and under mid he was drafted to be, which in turn makes it hard to gauge what he would be worth. He form was very promising but at the same time he doesn't have enough runs on the board to breaking the bank for. But he is exactly the type of player we should be targeting.

Dunkley also spent that time at Richmond before he got drafted so those relationships could play into things also perhaps

GWS would not want players generally speaking due to their salary cap.

I actually think Townsend would suit them, but thats just me. Costs them a little but they have to lose cap from trading other higher priced players whoever they decide on.

This why Mumford is probably an option. Mumford versus Lobb one takes the former and they save cap trading out Lobb for a pick.

Lloyd would’ve been an option and would suit them but we’ve kept him Lloyd and our first pick and Lloyd wouldn’t cost them much

Would happily battle it out for 3/4 of the season then peak again at the start of August and smash through September
