Get Gordo to drop Adams in Franga on his way to his portsea beach shack. Start at Daveys, hit up 21st century then head to kittens if all else fails. Some classy broads to be had there.

My personal favorite part of article.

Hamling is understood to have an extremely personal desire to return home for closer ties to his country town roots at Broome, from where he was recruited originally to Geelong through WAFL outfit Claremont five years ago.

The distance between Perth and Broome is 2240kms. Player managers really need to be more creative when coming up with excuses as to why they want their clients to be traded. Saving that, they could just acknowledge that player contracts are worthless and players will be poached at any time with better offers from other clubs.

It's hilarious.

It's like JJ wanting to move to Perth to be closer to South Africa or a Queensland born Adelaide player requesting a trade to Melbourne to be closer to Brisbane.

Does anyone have any idea what the hell the purple flog is talking about? Can any ITK's fill us in? Even just a hint?

Cause losing Hamling, Rat, Koby and Adams, whilst only bringing in Cloke is not what i'd call a 'flush' or a 'full house'. It's more like raising pre flop with a 2-7 offsuit.

What's wrong with raising 2-7off?

Meh. Was kept out of the side by Fletcher Roberts for much of the year. Yeah read that sentence again before getting too devastated.

Played in a team effort to shut down an injured Franklin in the GF and still did some horrendous things.

Offered a contract he doesn't deserve and took it. Can hardly blame him.

This was just posted on the Carlton forum:

I have heard from a not reliable source that these are the trades in discussion right now.

Carlton
Get: Pick 13, 2017 2nd Rounder, B.Crouch, J.Lyons
Adelaide
Get: B.Gibbs, Pick 25

Carlton
Get: C.Marchbank, J.Stewart, J.Pickett, A.Corr, T.Downie
GWS: Pick 13, 2017 2nd Rounder (Adel), S.White

Carlton
Get: N.Hrovat, Pick 40
Geelong
Get: Z.Touhy, Pick 58
Bulldogs
Get: S.Motlop

We are also looking at The Brown Twins as Free Agents.

Remember that this source thinks that he is friends with someone in the Carlton list management team.

Which would mean we'd be giving up Hrovat+Pick 40 for Motlop....Interesting.

This sounds a lot better than the first round pick price tag doing the rounds earlier in the week.

Those first two trades are ridiculous and both involve Carlton trading pick 13.

Dogs: P35, P34, P7
Out: Hamling Adams P18

Freo: P12, Hamling
Out: P35, P7

WC: P18, Adams
Out: P34,P12

What's wrong with raising 2-7off?

That's the sorta thing this guy would do:

Don't let any of this spoil the party guys. It's the price you pay for being successful. We've lost plenty of players (stars & depth (and coaches)) after winning premierships. It happens, you replace them and the show goes on.

Hamling was keeping Collins's spot warm until he's ready. Which is now.

Freo's draft picks: 7, 35, 43, 61 + future picks.

Young Victorians on their list:
Sheridan
Crozier
Tucker
Balic
Langdon
Apeness
Sam Collins (key defender)

We give the bloke a chance, make him a hero and he leaves the club to be 'closer' yet 2000 kilometres away from home.

And for contract security and dollars.

And apparently his mum is in Perth....

Good on him.

Not massively fussed an ok player who was good in our system. Do reckon his work in the finals was overrated by some. Hope Freo overrate him.

Our club has been brilliant over the last four or five years, making the most of Ward, Griffen, Jones:$, Lake, Cooney, and Higgins moving on when wanting out.

Good luck Joel, will forever be a Bulldog immortal for your jobs in Sept/Oct 2016. :)
