Hope we throw the kitchen sink at Rance right about now. We must have opened up at least 500k+ in cap space from Hamling+Koby+Hrovat going? As well as the 800k we threw at Hurley lying around.

So, Throw 1mil x 5 years at Rance. As well as all the pokemons he wants.

On another note, Hamling and Roberts were made to look good by our system not because he was a stellar defender. In an ideal world, it won't be too hard to find someone with the same attributes that can perform the same role.

After some of the gems your recruiting team have found in the last few years I wouldn't be too concerned with losing Hamling and potentially Adams, I'd back you fellas in too find some AA quality 3rd tall defender in the rookie draft the way you've been hitting them.

Hamling is going to step into Fremantle and find a vastly different environment under Ross Lyon than he has enjoyed under Bevo over the last couple of years.

IMO its seems we spent far too much time chasing uncontracted depth players we don't need instead of depth players that actually add something.

I'm going to consider this week the aftermath from the Freo game. Ironically Freo feature again.

Our team defence is plug and play so we may be able to find someone cheap with the requisite traits.

We gave him an opportunity when Geelong were keen to rookie list him. Yes, we gave him a premiership, but he also gave us a premiership. Clearly, this has been mutually beneficial.
