Reimers opinion is priddis is hindering the development of others on our list. If you don't agree with it state why but why try shut him down in here since he and every other player on list affects who we recruit and who we develop.

Would barrass have got his opportunity tonshine if emac didn't get injured? Would he have needed to? We may never have seen the best of barrass in our senior side.

Literally no one on any list in the AFL hinders other players by being in the best 22. If they did, the club would be smart enough to realise, or they wouldn't be playing.

you can't deny Stevens would be handy for us now. could conceivably be in the dogs' best 22, which would easily place him in ours. he always killed the wafl, week in, week out. always had very good number for east Fremantle. something absolutely none of our current depth players are capable of doing. he never got a look in, and for what? to let priddis be an average campaigner.

Don't think Woosha ever played him to his strengths and was left lingering in the WAFL so was not surprised when he wanted to leave. Would he want to come back West though is the question.

Injury is a curious thing. It can be devastating to the individual and also to the club but it creates an opportunity sometimes where there was none - Dean Cox would have been a St kilda player if Gardiner didn't injure his knee

There was a brief period where Darling was realistic trade bait, so unlike Priddis there was discussion to be had esp. in this thread, but since the club has confirmed he is a required player everything Darling related now is just asinine rubbish.

KP position is a bit different. There are multiple mids in the team. Priddis doesn't stop Shuey performing why would he stop anyone else. All of the guys that were listed were just mediocre.

They just get played on a forward flank as we have the choice of priddis in the middle or priddis on the bench and be a man down in the rotation.

We cant develop mids for shit as a result. They dont get the exposure of game time in the middle - like we did when shuey and selwood when they were starting out. We kept playing them even though they werent great.

Now we play shuey and priddis for most of the game in the middle.

Sheed has come on ok. Which shows if you are good enough you will be played. Duggan cant even find the ball at WAFL. That has nothing to do with Priddis. As for Yeo he just needs to sort his head out and stop trying to be a hero all the time.

You keep running that line. Shuey was great from the get go. He missed all of 2009 and most of 2010 through injury, when he got a clean run at it he should've won the Rising Star. There was no stage where he was getting midfield exposure that his form didn't warrant.

And Selwood spent a fair bit of his early career playing in the backline.

Jetta has super talent and a player we need but a big pre season is needed.

clem was a decent player in u17s, then his weight ballooned.

Unfortunately we can only go off his form the last 3 years.

For a rookie spot I'm not too fussed, would be very surprised if he became a best 22 player though

SPPs kicking isn't that sloppy imo.

He was the best at the combine for goalkicking accuracy, so his field kicking shouldn't be that tough to turn elite if that's anything to go by.

Probably just needs to slow down on the last 3 steps before he disposes of the ball... pretty common

Given his back surgery he may have a very quiet start to the season with no guarantees. This will naturally give opportunities for others to grow/.
