I want Hartley sacked.

Signing up Mansell, Ryan, Miller and HRS to multi-year deals and now wants Graham also! Its a dud factory he is delivering.

When we knew WCE offered 4 years we should have shut up shop and said to Graham, we won’t offer that and maybe that offer is in your best interest. Thats the smart play.

Wtf are we doing.

I reckon he's lost the plot. No other list manager in the competition is going to sign all those duds to multiyear deals. Does Blair even watch our games FFS!

How do you guarantee a top 10 pick for 2025 ??
We're sending our 2025 R1 pick to WCE who will then trade it to Fremantle who will then trade it back to us.

Gettable was pretty confident all of Bolton, Baker and Rioli will go and that Richmond whilst reluctant to move on from gun players and are tempted by the potential draft hand before tasmania enters. Twomey mentioned multiple times that Baker and Bolton could head to Freo for their 3 first round picks, so think it's a genuine chance. Maybe we'll be able to squeeze out St Kildas 2nd round pick from Freo as well

We're in a great position to help GC "protect" some picks from the Lombard bid, while cashing on Rioli.

For example:
  1. We trade Rioli, picks 57, 64 and our future 2nd to GC for picks 7, 12, 20 and 34. (7 and 12 are ours to keep in exchange for Rioli, but we're holding 20 and 34 to protect them from the Lombard bid. Our future 2nd is there to balance the trade).
  2. On draft night let's say the bid for Lombard comes at pick 11, which with the 20% discount costs 1063 points to match. GC uses picks 27, 47, 57 and 64 to match the bid.
  3. After the bid is matched we do a live trade with GC trading picks 21 and 33 to them for their future 2nd, which allows them to take two more picks in the second round. (The reason why its 21 and 33 going back, rather than 20 and 34, is because the AFL doesn't allow clubs to reverse trades).
In totality, the deal for us (roughly accounting for pick movements on draft night) is:

IN: Picks 10, 15, 23, 38, Future 2nd (GC)
OUT: Rioli, 24, 37, 57, 64, Future 2nd (RICH)

While for them its:

IN: Rioli, Picks 11 (Lombard), 24, 37, Future 2nd (RICH)
OUT: Picks 10, 15, 23, 31, 38, 47, Future 2nd (GC)

Think there is a good chance the dogs make a prelim, can't see us trading Rioli for pick 16 and 20 as an example, especially if we already have a swathe of picks from Baker and Bolton trades. If Suns want Rioli i'd prefer it to just be their own first round pick

What happens when Balta nominates as a free agent next year as we’ve let all the talented players in his age bracket leave?

Can we afford to cash in the compo for him to get an extra early pick next year?

Plenty of backline depth but it’s pretty unproven
Noah won't do this as his great mate from Brisbane will be a tiger in 2026

Twomey on gettable saying Rioli wants to get to GC, GC want him. Says GC may need to pay a little bit over to get him. But then follows up with that being 12+20.

In a strong draft 12 and 20 is big overs for Rioli. Eagles are going to get less for Tom Barrass who is a 195cm gun key defender. GC got pick-5 alone for Rankine who was a 22yo pick-2. Swans got pick-15 for a 25yo Jordan Dawson.

Rioli is a very good player. But he’s 28yo start of 2025. If he was uncontracted he’d net us a mid-teens pick in a trade. So 12 and 20 is overs …. I’m not saying we have to accept it, but we need to accept the reality it’s overs.

No we don’t have to accept it because it is not overs

Rioli means too much to Richmond

No chance he gets traded none

You aren't going to believe this, but...

Sam McClure thinks "whoever actually believes, in their heart, that Dustin Martin has retired from football for good, is wrong."

CONTRACTED.
Suns are desperate.
If we say no it's not as if Dan is gonna crack it.
