Id like us to target Will Phillips in the draft even if he is a midfielder
Absolute gun! No hope of getting him. Pies trying to offload trelol to get early pick for Phillips. He will go straight into any teams midfield. If Pies pull this off they will have replaced Trelol and saved huge cap space.

The following players missed a GF spot:

Caddy
Ross
Higgins
Chol
CCJ
Stack
Dow
RCD

And apparently Ralphsmith and Martyn are banging the door down.

I daresay we will keep our powder dry and go for a free agent next season. No need to trade this year.
Ross needs games next year, otherwise he will be this years Markov.

CCJ has a perfect opportunity in 2021 to repay the faith and emerge.

Higgins, Stack, Chol, RCD, Caddy all fighting for Top 22.

Dow probably a little off still but may get a game, as with Ralphsmith and Martyn.

Richmond has so far rebuffed St Kilda’s offer of a future second-round selection for Jack Higgins, with a potential trade for the Tigers midfielder still possible before Thursday's deadline.

Higgins has made clear he would like to move to St Kilda to gain more opportunities after 10 games in 2020 but the Tigers are keen to retain him.

They are yet to officially shut down a move and would require a significant trade for the No.17 draft selection in the 2017 national draft.

St Kilda’s first two picks in the 2020 national draft are 17 and 64, and their first-rounder this year is not up for grabs.

Clubs believe the 2021 draft will be laden with talent that was overlooked because of lack of exposure this year given the COVID crisis.

But Richmond wants more for Higgins so far with three days of the trade period still to run.

Richmond believes he will play plenty of senior football next year and still have high hopes for him, not prepared to give up on him for a future draft pick.

If St Kilda finished top four next year that draft pick would be in the 30s given the AFL has disallowed bidding on academy players until after pick 21 next year.

Future second. That's a farkin insult ! StK can cough up or bugger off. When you look at what Jye Caldwell is going to get paid, $500K for five years for a ten gamer and GWS want a Top 10 pick for a kid who has shown a hell of a lot less than Jack Higgins. Happy to keep him thanks.

So does higgo want to go or not? Saints say he hasn't nominated them, we say he hasn't asked to go, so what's happening? Good to see buckanara say we should only pick up the phone for a top 20 pick. I reckon we're clearly not getting anyone, unless there's an impending retirement tell all our blokes to turn their phones off and we should only hang around for a pick swap at most

if aints want higgo offer up 17 . he is still better than that pick he was drafted at

how much do u want him. walks into your best 22 and would be auto top 10 player at your club

Higgos old man pulling the strings
Wants midfield time for his boy and has been a big driver in his career
Been a positive for him but also a negative

And they’d want to do it quick as we could potentially get involved with clubs looking to do a swap of first round picks in a 2 for 1

If they are off the table Higgins becomes more valuable to keep

Adelaide and GWS missed finals and started rebuilding after getting reamed by the Tiges in the GF. Geelong about to do the same and they are certainly making sure it will be a hard drop by topping up and trading away their future.
meanwhile, st kilda is trying to root us while we are asleep with our premiership hangovers
