Pies rationale was that Treloar's mental health will suffer being away from his partner and child. With both QLD clubs going cold on Treloar what will their reasoning be now?

Anyone mentioning Brander has clearly never watched him and are holding onto his Draft hype from 3-4 years ago.

He is a failed KPP and has been moved onto the wing where he was very mediocre.

Wouldn't get close to our best 22.

Pressure is poor, and from memory his left foot leaves a lot to be desired.

Didn't mind him in his draft year, I've since changed my mind seeing him development, or lack thereof.....

In regards to the Pies/Treloar saga.
I can sorta see where the Pies are coming from in regards to treloars mindset will be with his family in Qld.

I wouldn't even accept 15 for him..He slid in the draft and we were extremely lucky/excited to get him. Since then...nothing has changed, and if anything he has exceeded expectations. Most other first rounders don't show the same in their debut/early seasons. Will 100% be a future gun, I couldn't be more certain of this.

The sad thing is..in premiership era...we tend to give away players very cheaply to help them get more game time. This can be good for our culture and reputation to support the players, however it's terrible for fans. Wouldn't be surprised if we accepted a 2nd rounder, when he is really worth SO much more.
