I'm not saying this is an exact science but I would offer something like this to the Bulldogs as they need points for Sam Darcy.

Obviously there are probably better ways to go about it but you get the picture.View attachment 1214012
Our 2021 picks #28, #40 and #44 (1468pts) for Dogs 2021 #14 + 2022 3rd round (~1400pts)

Fremantle aren't going to give up pick 27 for Pickett and their next pick is currently in the 80s.
Pickett + 2022 3rd rounder for Freo's 2022 2nd rounder would surely get it done?

Why would the Dogs even bother with this, an extra 68 point means nothing to them. Not to mention I can't see us having enough list spots to even use that 3rd round pick

Higgins would've been handy this year. Highly skilled and smart forward that isnt at their ceiling. Imagine him instead of Aarts in our forward line.

Went at 1.4 goals a game this year which would have him only behind Jack and Lynch. Only 22 and very talented.
The fact we couldn't see a spot for him in our forward line was a joke. The fact that we gave him up so cheaply as well when he was contracted was an even bigger joke.

Jacob Hopper just got named in the AA squad of 40, which probably pushes his price up just that little higher.
Hopefully his contact has incentives in it.
May tip their cap over the edge.

Herald Sun article, Sheahan Ink, says Cotch and Jack will retire at the end of next year.
Is it baloney or based on fact?

Probably just a guess. Don't have to be Nostradamus to predict that next year will be both players' last considering that's when their contracts end.

If that’s correct snd we told Bachar he would be re-signed then reneged on that verbal agreement that’s pretty ordinary.
I know you can’t be making sentimental decisions but we are talking Bachar here who would have taken the clubs word as good as a signature on the dotted line
You don’t know the context , I’d doubt they said guarantee mate 100% mate you got a contract maaaaaaaate

We needed to clear five players at the start.
I guess Egg is delisted, only two to go.
(We need one clear for mid-season.)
Would let Naish go, leaves only one.
Thought CCJ outclassed Chol yet again, a gulf between the two in form.
CCJ just looks more solid in aerial contests.

Senior players are signed on contracts year to year.
Hodge played to 35, Bartel should have too.
Champions who are the calibre of Trent and Jack should have final say.
Think though that next year will be Sheds' last.
Last chance for RCD and Ross.
They will have been in the system for four years.
They just don't have the explosive burst of pace, finesse, and penetrating kick that Marlion has.
Parker is light years ahead of those two, he makes the skill set look so easy.
