Just don't think he can fill Edwards/Lambo role. Just wouldn't want him to take MRJ or Cumberland's spot and I'd imagine if he came he'd expect a regular best 22 gig not a George/Aarts type role.

His speed, skill and forward pressure is right up there and something we need in F50, just in my opinion. He’s better than junior imo, only due to experience and being much more composed with footy in hand. Would be a more than handy addition. Just my two cents worth

For minimum chips we'd have to be tempted. I'd do 3 years, he's had a bit of time off as well so would be like a 26 year old wear and tear wise.
The counter argument is would he be stifling development of our youth? There's only Clarke really who'd be a similar role and he'll need at least another year imo. He's also the bloke who submitted a bottle of Gatorade as his urine sample, so that's a consideration...

Fogarty is their great white hope over there. We'd have to overpay something fierce. SA boy.
He's tracking pretty well but he's at that McStay level atm where he's handy and bobs up every now and then with a few goals but you wouldn't go all-in on him. Unless he wants out.

I'm a big fan of Judson but he's got a fair bit of filling out to do. Will be 2-3 years before he's contributing at Rioli's level, by which time Rioli will be out and Clarke in.

Agree however 2 different roles; Hardwick has publicly stated Clarke to play the Lambert role. Willie can / should replace and upgrade Castagna.

Yes, except the 2 x main ones we have are crud. And Edwards is going to retire. We are stuck with Castagna for 2023, but if getting Wille means we never need to see Castagna’s name on the team sheet again then I’m all for it.

Small forwards of Rioli, Rioli, Bolton and Clarke is an exciting prospect.

Castagna, Aarts, could not get a game and Willie will still probably not get a game, thats how many are in front of him.

Without thinking, Bolton, Cumberland, Baker and MRJ and then there is more. Simply do not need another small forward especially when so deficient in other areas

Degoey’s wrap sheet is also a lot more troubling than what Dusty ever was accused of
