Congratulations, he is a good player when played in his best position, inside mid with maybe 10% time up forward.
As a matter of interest, which players interest you next year. Harry Himmelberg as a free agent?
Also, don't you think you would be better off keeping Graham and getting Hopper in 2024 as a free agent instead? Or do you know we would match like with Jeremy Cameron?

Surely you’ll do everything possible to hold on to Himmelberg, the Blues knew the value of McKay to their structure and signed him up for 7 more

Thanks for the congrats, as a supporter, what do you think of the trade for Taranto?

FWIW, Graham is staying and we're still in the process of negotiating for Hopper, so both will be done. I don't think that the Tigers list management team would be offering the deal for Hopper if they didn't think it could be done, we don't operate that way. If we did miss out on Hopper then GWS would still have to pay his salary for next year, which from all I've read they'll be struggling to do. Obviously if we can't stump up the trade capital then next year will have to do and with our likely retirements and GWS salary cap issues I'd doubt that our offer could be matched.

I do like Himmelberg as a player and he showed this year that he can be a swingman.

Bloke is not going know himself, running out in front of 80k in round one.
Playing under a proper coach at a real club with teammates who complement him. Gonna win the Norm Smith.

blokes shoulders are strapped on for dear life
So were Carey's.

We’re rolling the dice with Taranto and Hopper to be the missing pieces that will get us into the top 4 next season. This is why Cotchin and JR8 didn’t retire.
If by top 4 you mean top 4 flag we've won in the past 7 years.

the missing piece to the top 4 is the afl and umpires

they'll decide our fate
As a trade-off for using lube with their bastard child the AFL's gonna give us 17 games at the G.

The maggots will still ream us cos it's personal with those bony little cowards.

The equivalent of what we may have just given up for a guy who is 25 and needed to be offloaded due to salary cap restrictions.
