Pies midfield Pendlebury,crisp,degoey,sidearse
Adams,daicos x2 lapinski

Geelong Guthrie smith Holmes Atkins
Dangerfield parfitt menegola Duncan

Melbourne Oliver Petracca brayshaw viney harmes Langdon

Tigers Cotchin Martin Prestia Bolton kmac
Graham Ross sonsie baker tarranto hopper we would cream them

Melbourne are one injury away from a weak midfield no depth whatsoever

We have lots of cover

Shocked we didn't get a second or third back. Have a feeling they'll ream us with Hopper too now.
Clubs rooted mate. I'm with ya. We should both go join GWS and support them. I'll call myself General Patton 12, what'll be your handle?

What about paddy dow for a future 3rd or 4th worth a punt might click with his brother being there

Let’s reverse the situation … let’s say end of 2018 after a flag and showing he was a quality player, Prestia decided he wanted to head back to QLD? A 25yo quality midfielder ….what would Tiger supporters have wanted for Prestia?

Would you have been doing cartwheels with 12 and 19?

I think it’s a win/win. Tigers get a desperately needed quality inside-mid at perfect age profile for contending, GWS get good draft capital.

People have to realise that whilst we may not win a flag with TT and Hopper, we were zero chance of a flag without them in the next few years.

Wait you’re telling me we can’t come out on top in every trade?!
- every BF poster

Folks need to realise trades need to be a win/win

So if we snag Taranto and Hopper and keep our future picks - Blair is a genius.
They'll be eyeing next years 1st rounder and a player I'd have thought.

They want that pick and they honestly deserve it.

They have picks 3, 12, 19, 21, 43, 58.

Richmond: Jacob Hopper, Pick 43, Pick 58
GWS: 2023 1st Rounder, Player ?

Could see them giving us 43 and 58. Could package them with 31 for two 2nd rounders next year.

Leaving us with two picks from 19-40, plus our own 2nd rounder. Be able to head into next year's draft with three picks from 19-40

Well if you simplify it to us having

Hopper Prestia and Taranto as the first mid rotation with

Dusty Cotch and Bolton the second I think I’ll take those 6 against anyone else’s 6 in the whole comp

Especially if Cotch plays like Selwood off the bench all year 👍🏻

If it's a fringe player then you're absolutely right.

If it's someone like Graham, then it won't be our future first. Interesting watch to see who it ends up being.

Who do peeps think that player might be?

Not sure if true but Read somewhere GWS weren’t after a ruckman.
Would assume it’s one of the younger guys who are ready to play but behind others for a spot in the best 22
Maybe a Mansell or Hugo type given GWS are so pretty stacked for young mids you wouldn’t think it would be RCD or Dow
