- Cotchin retirement.
  • Sonsie and Dow looking very average in the VFL this year.
  • Prestia injury prone.

Fin macrae would be great for our list profile.... Unfortunately he's contracted until the end of 2024, he could've been very cheap but who knows with those pies, they'd probably ask for Shai.
Dow just had a great game in VFl

Young and Balta as key defenders with the 193cm Browne as the sweeping Grimes is plenty.

Put Lynch, Sampson Ryan, and Gibcus in the fwd line.

Gibcus can rotate with Bauer back and fwd.

Miller out.

Wow, Ryan has potential but he still can't run out a game (what would be his max TOG 60%?) AND he couldn't play at the level for even half the season playing less than 3 quarters.

Was gifted games this year for his development and rightly so BUT ...

Let's see him play 4 full quarters of dominant football for a month at VFL before he is ready to contribute at the level we need. Needs to continue to get fitter, stronger and better

Taberner's a dud - wouldn't even pick him up as a DFA. Not sure Johnson would all that valuable to The Filth - not getting a game and will be 27 this time next year. Not a dud but don't think he's all that great either. Better off trying to find some Podsiadly type in the state leagues for nix if we're going to go down that road.
27, I thought he was a kid.... No thanks.

I can answer for him.

We are in talks with an interstate key position player and looking to off-load Ross and Ralphshit for them.
at least that offering is a chance of getting a decent one in,its a start, theres plenty of delusional minds on here whom think ya can get one in w/o giving up regular players such as Ross for example, plenty drinking the kool aid
Ross and JGTI as a minimum gets Himmelberg.Youd have to throw the 2nd round pick in is as well,KPF that can take contested marks and kick like him do not grow on trees, dreamers think its gonna take a straight one for one swap

Georgiades. Himmelberg. Riccardi.
Riccardi and Georgiades yes both would be good non premium (e.g lower costing) KPF gets.

Himmelburg isn't a forward though, his best footy has always been behind the ball and we'd be overpaying substantially (contract length and dollars) to get him in as a KPF.

Both the King boys got subbed last night

Ben king - Because he couldnt touch the ball
Max King - Because he had another issue with his shoulder again

Buyer Beware

The more I watch Riccardi, the more I hope we're doing work to look at bringing him back to Victoria. Very mobile, takes a good grab, converts well and the perfect age bracket to fit in with our group of players under 25.

Agreed I was impressed yesterday

We should have taken Jake Riccardi in the 2019 draft but went with Will Martyn & Noah Cumberland from the brisbane academy.
TigerImposter was talking about him at Coburg in 2019 and would have been a great pickup rather than a slow inside mid like Martyn

Yep he would’ve been handy. I still keep in touch with his uncle and he says Jake would love to come back to Melbourne.
