I'm pretty sure going into the draft, you can only have as many draft picks as empty list spots. On draft night, you can trade for as many picks as you like. We should aim for one of their picks in the 20's. Going to the draft with picks 28 & 29 would be a good result.

It tells us nothing new. With early picks sometimes you get Dusty & Selwood, othertimes you get Fiora & Jarryd Oakley Nichols & the teams that pick right win flags while the ones that pick wrong get a boiled potato.

You trade for Hopper you get Hopper & your instant results tell you if it was worth while as you made that trade for instant results & to bypass the "development" period. We traded for Hopper and finished 13th
