Hello Tiger fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

I’ll take our ins next year of lynch and gibcus over any one else’s ins for 2024.
theres only a 50% chance of this occuring @ best, dont hang yur hat on it,we're not anywhere near in the clear with these 2
and if combined they manage 50% game time or less over the course we are once again down with the battlers no doubt about it
we dont even have a dangerous small fwd,Shai is mid, who's gonna kick the goals if Lunch isnt there ?

We are well placed for 2024 trade / free agency.

Kudos to Blair, he's going to have a lot of flexibility to attract players over the next 12 months.

Plenty of cash for free agents and plenty of draft capital.

Going early.
But STK havn't got much after their 1st pick,
25 & 26 might tempt them.
Hoping Carl have a stinker with the camporeale twins under F/s.

I don't think we are contenders for next year, so all I really wanted out of the trade period was a better draft hand. We got that.
I would say, the Soldo to Port thing is a legitimate win-win-win scenario. Port needed new ruck energy, Soldo needed to be a number one somewhere, and Richmond needed to shift a 206 cm 23-year-old up the pecking order or risk losing a long-term prospect for better opportunities elsewhere..

We have picks 29, 41, 65 and 68.

Given it is a really shallow draft, I doubt we will use all four at the National Draft. I think it'll be 2-3.

We could see a DFA signed - possibly a backup ruck or someone like Will Snelling (who we have had interest in).

We could also elevate Young and/or Miller to the senior list and use a pick or two in the rookie draft so we don't have to have late picks locked in for two years.

We could also take a mature-age player, as over-23s aren't subject to the same two year contract rules as other national draft picks.

Lots of options.

Balta is not smart enough to play fwd.
Playing back is a simple game for him, the ball comes to him, he only has 1 job to do, stop his man.

As a forward he will struggle. He has all the athletic tools but not the brain....
He's not smart enough to play back.Falls asleep at the wheel to often.Costs us goals

41, 65 and 68 trade them to GC for their 32... basically the same points, and they will be using their picks on academy players anyway.

We take 29 and 32 to the draft (and maybe 86 if we don't upgrade an existing rookie).
I think we could do something like this on draft night after they clear a few picks out with the first couple of bids.

Port only have pick 73 - Karen Corns will no doubt be filthy won't he?
Surely if Port fail again, much to our delight. Massive off field changes to the club.

Best summary of our trade period right here

lol at Korn this morning on SEN - claims Tigers will go backwards as we have not improved our list...

knob forgets that assuming we get them fit, when compared to 2023 out-put we will essentially add a Coleman Medal winning, 60 - 70 goal a year power forward and an elite tall key back or swing-man 1st round pick. (Lunch and Gibcus)

Both SIGNIFICANTLY improve our list in 2024.

Looking forward to Tigers "surprising" many including the cobb next year....
