Interesting the chat about Kosi playing back. Yze might think that's his best spot as he was drafted as a CHB who seemed to struggle at AFL level in this role early on. Matured a bit and maybe ready to be tried there again???

If he could hold down CHB, it would be bloody delicious and allow Balta to play FF and 2nd ruck, or FF full time with Ryan chopping out.

41, 65 and 68 trade them to GC for their 32... basically the same points, and they will be using their picks on academy players anyway.

We take 29 and 32 to the draft (and maybe 86 if we don't upgrade an existing rookie).

Why would GC help us if they don’t need to? That trade doesn't help or change their position at all does it?

Blair Hartley has already said he's a KPF. Give him a season there then if he's no good try him as a KPD.

Worth a shot, Yze clearly rates him. Let’s see what he is like over the preseason. Balta the swing man.

Whether you rate the players or not, you cant argue they didnt significantly improve their best 22 and for almost no draft capital.

I’d be looking at gibcus forward ahead of balta. Balta not smart enough, he’d run into lynch.

41 becomes 38 with picks disappearing anyway, and it seems likely 65 and 68 will be early 50 picks. I’d rather have 2-3 throws at the stumps with 38, 50 and 53 than one throw with pick 32.

Unless there’s someone we are super keen on who has slid to 32 if we think they’ll be grabbed in picks 33-37.

Yeah I think they just count what comes in v what goes out with no sense of the salary space eaten up on crap.

We tried Balta forward and it didn't work.

Yeah and I said I disagree lol, they've marginally fixed their KPD problem bringing in 10 game a season McKay, their midfield is still average, and their KPFs are still trash, thats a fact.

By your same theory though, 29 and 32 may become 26 and 29 once academy and FS bids are matched and picks used to compensate for points.

The question will be, do two players at 50,53 appeal more than one at 29.

Given Yze wants to look at the list as it is, I would suggest two players is preferable than 3... But we are all just guessing right
