Hello Tiger fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

Dismal trade period by the club

We did ok! Yes we traded Soldo but we picked up Kosi who can play either as a forward or back. Can also chop out in the ruck.
Got two 2nd rounders off Port (pick 41 and future 2nd tied to Freo, likely mid 20's pick. And a future 4th.

Next years draft is strong and we got some bargaining power with our picks if we need to make deals.

Port Adelaide under the gun now, sold the farm over this trade and last years for JHF, Soldo, Esava and Zerk.

Somehow I dont think it's going to pay off for them.

Soldo and JHF yes the rest not so much.
Yep they’ve gone all in on Ken

Disagree. While we didn't get any star players or early draft picks, I believe we finished in a stronger position at the end of the trade period than we were at the start.

We helped our long term future by improving our draft hand obtaining Freo's future 2nd and pick 41.

We traded a good depth player in Soldo, but obtained a depth player in Kozi to offset that.

While having Soldo on the list is handy, he would only realistically be used if Nank was injured.

For where our list is at and the transition from the premiership era we are going through, I think we made the right moves with what we have.

I’d give us a solid A for trade week. We don’t have a lot of picks and cap this year so we were always limited.

We got another forward option, something that we should do done last year. 49 was fair value for a player that hasn’t shown any consistency.

I would of liked us to keep Soldo but we got a solid return.

We added to next years draft hand, which will coincide with a lot of cap becoming available.

Already excited to see what we do, given we wouldn't budge on any future picks we must have big plans for next yrs off season.

A big gamble - they didn't look anywhere near a premiership side so not sure that these players will get them any closer.
They didn't even finish this yr looking like a top 8 side. Str8 sets sides rarely make the 8 the following yr.

Mackie has been holding out for a week and a half for the sake of a future 4th round pick. What a campaigner.
Yeah. Lucky the w***er held out for picks 76 and 94. Had to get something extra to to pathetically save face.

A changing of the guard: move aside Dodo and Silvagni here’s Geelong and Hawthorn. Let’s not deal with them. Gonna be tiresome.

I honestly do not understand why anyone replies to this poster. Club could trade in Nick Daicos for a 5th rounder and he/she would still write a book on why it’s a poor trade.
Wouldn’t feed the poster with replies as the posts just get more and more ridiculous

EDIT: talking about RJKtiger
Haven’t seen anything from him or Magic for a few years. Shake my head that people still reply.

Hugh McLauggage would be a great get, have a feeling he will stay at the Lions.

Brodie Grundy gets dealt for Future 2nd (SYD) and Pick 46

Ivan Soldo basically gets dealt for Future 2nd (Freo), Pick 41 and Future 4th

On current market value it seems we’ve done a bloody good job taking out the circumstances behind both.

I’m sad to see Ivan go but also excited for the opportunity it gives Samson Ryan which I felt was pretty important. Otherwise in 12 months time you have Ryan requesting a trade much in the same reign as CCJ did through lack of opportunities and were royally ****ed once Nank hangs the boots up.

Now we just need to find a state leaguer to back up Nank and Ryan, worst case scenario you give Lycett a 12 month contract until something else comes along.

I wonder what Nic Nat’s got planned for 2024.
