Even just taking that out of the equation, Bakes appears to be someone who loves the lads at the footy club, and whilst he easily makes friends at another, he doesn't seem like the guys would want to move.

It's nearly like hes playing country footy with his mates, and doesn't want to go to a rival club, he just happens to get paid a s**t load of money to do so.

He does but the chance to go home and be well paid is a big lure.
I’ve heard whispers not claiming it as fact but don’t be surprised.

I’d doubt it’d be double , if it was he’d go ,,, he’d be ~650ish , he ain’t being paid 1.3 , no way does a 5”6 player get that . At most he’d be offered 800 ,,,not a heck of a lot in it tbh after tax and having to travel fortnightly ain’t attractive . I agree alot will depend on our trajectory under ooze

West Coast like Norf have too use what is it at least 95% of their cap.Looking at their list past next year you could only say Allen & Kelly would be on around the 800k mark.Thats alot of cap space too fill.

Oh dont get me wrong, WC would offer much more than we are paying him and they would need to, I just mean I dont reckon he's on $650K with us, more like $500K

I reckon that’d be couple of tpp rises ago , his bf finishes would be a good reference point for where he is in tpp pecking order. No way on earth you’d leave for 50 ish a season more if it involved getting on a return 4hr plane trip ea fortnight

in relative terms it’s like offering us normal wage earners if they’d go west , travel shit loads back and forth for extra 5-10k pa ,,,you know the answer to that , GAGF

I reckon they’d focus a lot of that on the many FA next year, say Tim English for 1m plus ,,,they ain’t offering baker 800-900 …if they are good luck to them but there ain’t a precedent for a 5”6 player in that pay grade
