Hello Tiger fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

tugga you may like to sticky or merge this post, move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread.

Na don’t think our list is at that point yet
If we go down that route we could end up with a fair few cloggers stealing games from kids

Just hit the draft hard for the moment
Sheldrick & Finn Macrae are 2 good places to start.

Early days yet...The Club needs Ooze and Co to work out our bottom line team wise...ala using Louie's scalpel...
Two praccy games is not enough data to work that out!...need more pressure games...and more games in the VFL for the older players...
Also need to work out which of the experienced players are worth keeping to help with the development of the younger players...
And which of the younger promising players are worth persevering with...
Once Ooze has worked that conundrum out...then its time for fine tinkering!
Not all doom and gloom...
Too many older players still in side , macca , jack g that do fa and shouldn’t stand in way of others coming thru

Looks like Clarke will be off to WC , not worst thing that can happen Blair h is the key ,, we should be able to prize an up and comer from
A side that’s up there at the mo
Saw an article that mentioned about Sydney promoting one of the stats guys in preparation of somone potentially poaching their list bloke

If we do end up bottom four, do we make the hard call and let Bakes go as a free agent to get the extra pick in the top 5, or do we keep him as our future captain?
I'm just not seeing Bakes as a forward. In fact, I reckon he's been struggling through the latter half of 2023 and these two praccy matches. He was a bit of a liability in the first half last night - his ambitions far outweighed his abilities to get loose and be effective with the footy.

I agree he's the heart and soul of the playing group atm, and I'm really hoping he can rediscover his fantastic form of 2022 and early last year. And I see what they're trying to do having him as a pressure half forward, but I'd much prefer him further up the ground facing goals rather than playing with his back to goals. Same with Balta, although they have different forward roles.

Wonder if we can pinch Thursfield back....

Swans only lost Simon Dalrymple a few months ago to the Saints. Stephen Wells from Geelong would be nice.....

I don’t really rate wells personally, you look what they have coming through and I don’t think they have done anything amazing
He likes to play a fair bit of moneyball with guys on the outer instead of investing in kids

That's not all his doing though, he hasn't been list manager for a few years now. Cats have traded away a lot of early picks over the years and he has always managed to find gems.

Dimmas abject hatred of goal kickers
Butler
Higgo
Cumbo
Media ban on Jack after 12G
Has left us completely bereft up forward , was chalk and cheese comparing our front half to the pies , list manager needs to get funky with our priorities , tbh should be able to trade in some likely types
Bit harsh

2017 finals fwd lne was George, the 2 Dans and Caddy, and peak Jack R. After Griffiths, Elton etc etc had goes up there.
Sadly they lost form, after injury, Butler. Caddy lost his spot to Lynch. couldn't play anywhere else.
George and Dan Rioli never dropped.

Higgo bailed after a great start to his career. Who's fault?

The ole Dimma hates Cumbo after responding to a qn with "He could be anything., He just has to go back and work on a few things.

Having said not straight in Yze's 22 either!!

Apart from Mansell all the other small fwds have been dropped.

Who's left? Cumbo, Green, Coulthard, Clarke, Baker, Campbell? fte rt

Got a glut of depth.

See how it goes but Our KPF situation is worse. Lynch after a year out. Plus ??? ??? ???

Sadly RFC is not the most attractive these days for young talented players who want success. Its the price of dynasty.
The only viable option is to hit the draft (just like hawthorn) and start again. The longer we plug holes with average free agency, the longer the rebuild takes.

While our recruiters have done a great job thus far, i feel they missed a beat or 2 with key position stocks. It should've been our first priority after 2020 but we got two mids instead.

It'll take another 3-5 years for us to be anywhere near the level we were 2017-2020. Here's hoping

Been playing 4D chess for the last few years recruiting guns from WA for us so he can get them on the cheap when he poaches them to join west coast
thats probably the legitimate reason that got him the job, nothing more annoying for a club based in WA than seeing WA stars get away from under their noses. Broad, Baker, Bolton all from WA plus hits on late picks and rookie draft in short, lambert etc

That’s rubbish , if players are on the market , it’s all about currency and $$ . Saints have not struggled to attract in demand players , what do you put that to , all their success , tpp at right time is critical in list building

Is there any campaigners left at Punt Road ..................

Skunks and Gold Coast Now West Coke stolen our whole club faaarkin.

Yet no one stealing the butcher Meehan ffs.
afl only left balmey so umps can have an excuse to ream us
