You know what, this study says that science textbooks in the US overwhelmingly mischaracterise testosterone and estrogen as exclusively male and female hormones:

So maybe if anyone of us learned from one of THOSE text books, we could be forgiven for freaking out when we find out women have been given testosterone.

Its not dangerous, in isolation. The amount being used will quickly change that and it causes problems to men who use it later in life. Cant imagine side effects are better in women...
