As 7.30 revealed on Thursday night, the head of the International Boxing Federation is a Russian and mate of Putin and The IBA banned Khelif days after she defeated a undefeated champion Russian boxer. The IOC over turned that gender ban.

This BS governance is why Boxing after 120 years has been kicked out of the LA Olympics. The IOC doesn't respect the IBA's governance of boxing. It was too late to kick boxing out of Paris.

The Italian boxer was given a $50,000 USD compo award by the IBA after quitting the 46 second 1st round bout in the first set of rounds at the Games. Its hard not to believe it was all nicely set up before the bout.

They talk to an Aussie boxer who beat Khelif in 2019. The excuses given at the IBA presser in Paris after that first bout, on why they wouldn't disclose her records, is just more nasty bullshit.

Both women won gold medals in their class.
