I wouldn't expect Rohan and Stanley to actually play VFL

We've only got 5 AFL listed players who have turned 21. And 3 of those probably won't play (Kolo, Rohan and Stanley).

By my count they have 16!

Being even competitive in this game will require a minor miracle.

I wouldn't expect Rohan and Stanley to actually play VFL

They wont and christie and chalcraft will come in. But our vfl team is still ok.

Ned moyle is on their afl list (would be a good trade target). 23rd player cant be afl listed as per rules.

Look they are experienced but half their 22 are spuds-blakely atkins berry constable stein etc etc. They arent as good as they appear.

Honestly i look at that vfl team and i go they dont have as much developing young talent as people think. Admittedly they have walter and some other good kids coming through their academy in this draft class.

Correct. Suns got 48 players on AFL list.

Suns did not sign up any players for VFL only contrary to teams like e.g., Lions with standard list size. Suns also went this year with mature and cheap players and as someone here said average/depth to fill the list and assist VFL.

IMO, it is a good environment of mature bodies for young players like Moyle (best VFL ruck last year), Andrew, Johnston, Humphrey, Davies, Faulkhead, Uwland, Brock to develop. In the past when injuries hit Suns played 6-8 academy kids some 16-17 years old. It was absolute nightmare.

The team beat Williamstown last week relatively comfortably, but it was far from great performance, still missing cohesion, synergy. Let's see this week. I will be there

I would say Humphrey and Andrew are top quality, Moyle possibly too. Johnston, Davies, Uwland are also a good chance to make it down the track. I am optimistic about Brock too.

He looked good for us in the games he played, I was hoping we'd get him in the midseason draft. It'd be a bit of a kick in the guts to go from VFL to getting put on an AFL list only for that team to drop you from the VFL. Crazy.
