Wiltshire's got something. Needs another 5-10kgs, but could be in the side as early as next season for mine.

Stevens for opposite reasons. Has class, is tough on the inside, but if you can't run you can't play in today's game.

Really liked him today, and there's something to work with for sure, but it's going to take time.

The number 15, tan, crew cut, & softish build has him looking like a young Luke Hodge out there.

Knevitt is looking more and more like an AFL footballer by the week. He'll be worth it in the long-run IMO. Will be a player.

Agree on Knevitt. Will make it.

I have not seen him play... what type of player..what role do you see "The Knife" playing? He was the goal kicking kid from the local leagues?

Seems like have a few players that are at least a chance of making it...like Lawson

Wiltshire?

At this stage half forward flank. Has speed, knows where the goals are, and has some mercurial moments.

Unfortunately for him, that position is a conga line for us right now, so he could be waiting a while.

Would like to see him in the guts, but he doesn't have the size for it right now.

Thats what I was thinking ..you see him getting in soonish ..but there is army load wanting their turn at the front... in that role. Can he play wing /on ball? Could he be and otehr dempsey?

As far as the talent we have ... Id say the thing we lack is an obvious KPF and an explosive mid. Knev and Stepvens etc all look good but from what I have seen , there are not JHF types were they can burst.

The Smith & Perkins links make all of the more sense in this regard. Neale being the holdover makes the key forward hole in the side look more apparent than it is in reality.

If Dempsey can put on some size and transition into a full time midfielder next year then Wiltshire could potentially take his role.

Albeit Dempsey has been pushing up onto the wing in recent weeks, so there could be a learning curve there, but he's got the talent to do it.

He reminds me a bit of Dempsey circa 2022. Next year he'll get some chances, while 2026 could be the breakout.

You can see Stevens footy brain works at AFL speed.. the body jsut needs to catch up.

We will rue the missed chances and poor F50 entries if we lose this game.
