First time I've had the chance to watch the VFL team at it. Shame it's such a soggy deck, you can see a bit of a spark there and if the ball wasn't so slippery we may even watch some cohesive, fast ball movement.

De Mattia looking to click, Ed Allan getting amongst it (which I am happy for).

Someone must have made Ash Johnson's boots from lead, he barely runs and doesn't even jump for the mark.

Smit is a BEAST. Feels like in a season or two he could be our next version of a Tristan Xerri

Yep, he's an inside midfielder and hardly been played there.
Perhaps being eased into it from his growth spurt issues.
