Can't tell if VFL team really good or opponent not so good.

Port have been historically decent i think but hard to say since the comp expansion. Think they struggled last year (def missed finals) but to my eye have a few good inclusions.

Cracking game. Fast, long kicking. And poss the best bit is the umpires letting it go, on merit. No equalisation free kicks like at senior level.

Ed looking v good. So too Reef and Carmy.

Ed Allan looks very promising but also a little raw. If jakob ryan had to play afl next week i'd feel pretty comfortable about it.

I think he's big enough, just looks a little panicked under pressure/reactive at the contest. Think he just needs a couple more weeks to pick up the pace a bit more.
