Timmy G has been a bit disappointing in the modern era in terms of how hard he goes at the club. You can tell sometimes he holds back.

Tonight he can fight the good fight by going hard at Aber.

I suspect it will be a pretty generic interview. Wouldn't surprise me if they have been told by the club don't ask Bruce about any details surrounding his exit from his previous stint on the board.

You know he wont do that

Abernethy would be able to easily dismiss those questions, anyway. He can point to the length of his tenure and say he thought it was time to step away to give others a chance to run the club/develop leadership skills. If asked specifically about the commercial dispute, he can say it was resolved (settled out of court) to the satisfaction of all parties and decline to comment further.

Both would be bullshit answers of course: if he hadn't been in trouble over whatever was ultimately settled out of court, the AFL were probably going to sack him (along with everyone else) for almost running the club into the ground.

When Tredders gets elected, it's curtains for Curtin!!!
It still makes me laugh these people "Tredrea slammed the club, Tredrea said something negative" When the team have success they are congratulated, when they don't then we analyse the reasons why.

Have these people actually been watching? They are aware we have won 2 finals in 9 years and lost our last 3 finals by an average of 8 goals? :D

Spot on - I wonder what Curtin would say if someone were to suggest to him that Port hasn't tasted success since 2004. Probably a few expletives, followed by "What about the 13 wins in a row, you ****wit?"

It's completely consistent to disagree with Tredders vax stance and also want him voted onto the board of the Port Adelaide Football Club. It's about wanting qualified experts in charge of decision making. Tredrea is one of the most qualified people on the planet to help guide the Port Adelaide Football Club to onfield success.

Tredders is about as qualified to talk about vaccines as Koch is to run a football club.
You know what? Tredrea didn't even talk about Vaccines. He just made a personal decision that he didn't want to take the useless shit. For that he was sacked, vilified and discredited. I don't recall him telling anybody else not to take them or pushing this agenda on anybody else.

"Mr Abernethy, you're well known, sir, for your lenient stance on stealing trade secrets from former employers. But suppose your company was ransacked by former employee thugs, your admin managers tied up in the office with socks in their mouths, you try to stop the intellectual property from being stolen but there's too much IP on the floor..."

"What is your question?"

"My question is about Ken Hinkley"

For those who missed out on hearing the interview between the 2 candidates here it is starts from 1:00

Just can't trust Abba from the interview reminds me of a dodgy car sales men and feels a bit scripted...

Tredders from the interview comes of as honest, straight to the point and you know he will say it how it is rather than be all diplomatic about issues inside the club. The board & club needs him.

One spoke from the head, the other spoke from the heart.

Abba didn't even sound convinced that he was all that keen. Admitted himself that he wasn't interested until his mate Duncanson convinced him. Also said Koch had nothing to do with it. But the club's media man Rucci in his latest spin piece said otherwise. Get your story straight Ports.
