I sucked it up last year with Sheed. I'm sick of sucking it up.

I've never once said he's a bad player, and he was my third preference after Laverde and Cockatoo. AFTER Laverde.

Like several others have said, he'd be a good fit in another team, a team which doesn't already consist of small, slow, uncreative midfielders. I don't think he's the fit for us, but i'll be hoping he comes good regardless. Obviously.

But he is creative.

Never totally understood the whole homesick thing
Moving interstate would be pretty cool, and you'd still get to stay in touch with parents, friends etc..

He's the youngest kid in the draft (almost a whole year younger than Petracca and Brayshaw) so if he debuts in Round 1 2016, he'll be right on track for that.

If he plays a few games this year and doesn't look out of place that will be pretty impressive.

Great pick up. Would of been happy with using a Top 5 selection on him if we had it. Out of all the draftees this year i see the most upside with Duggan. Well spoken kid and will be a great addition to the club. Absolutely stoked he got to us

There was a Wild Colonial boy JACK(Liam) DUGGAN was his name Yes thats my nickname for him.
I see him as a future captain of the club and possibly our Sam Mitchell..A VERY Simmo pick. I think he has also got Marc Murphy Traits.

So a HBF doesn't need poise & skill? Im pretty sure theres always a question mark over drafting a 17yo whether his poise and skills will hold up at AFL level but whats the alternative?
Have a quiet think about things..

What I mean is that if he doesn't adapt to a more contested brand of footy, he will end up playing that looser HBF role.
