Give him credit, he speaks well and looks to have a great attitude. He is only 17 so we should not he overburdening him with expectations. Skills and composure I do like that.Duggan will be in Perth on Sunday and at Monday training .

I hope his mum hasn't seen the video clip, he doesn't see upset at all leaving for the far west

Is that what think or had you heard that somewhere
Can anyone see him debuting round 1?
--> Spade --> Deck of cards --> Ace.Let's call him Shovel.
Or DiggerHacksaw is solid.
I think Duggan knew we were taking him before yesterday and with Cockatoo being a late invitee I think he was a second choice.
Duggan or Cockatoo was the second choice?
Cockatoo.
I knew itHere's your knew av:
Did you hear it from someone at the club or just a hunch?
O'Brien did allude to that even if Cockatoo were available our pick may not have changed.
"Any disappointment the Eagles could have felt when Northern Territory midfielder Nakia Cockatoo was snapped up by Geelong ahead of their first pick was cancelled out when they secured Duggan.
Then, they relished the opportunity to grab Lamb, who was expected by many to be gone before selection No.32.
"The reality is, and I guess it's hard for some people to understand, that when you're sitting in the position that we were, you think it may be Liam Duggan, it may be Nakia Cockatoo, it may be Jayden Laverde or Lachie Weller," O'Brien said.
"You're thrilled with any of them.
"The fact [Nakia] got selected, that's terrific for Geelong and I don't think it would have changed anything we did.
"You can't get hung up on one player and we're rapt."

Maybe our apparent love for Cockatoo was a smokescreen to get Duggan to slide for us?
Simpson would have been in love after his first interview with Duggan.

Don't think I've ever seen a club come out and say they really wish player A was still available so settled for player B, they all do itIt's no surprise he's saying that. Every club comes out and says they got exactly what they want and yada yada yada.
It's not like he's going to say "we wanted Cockatoo"
It's not just WCE, look at any clubs recruiters and they'll be saying similar things.

What does Cockatoo being a late invitee have to do with us? He'd have been flown in because Geelong indicated last minute they were a good chance to take him.
What?
Not sure how else to ask it. What does Cockatoo being a late invitee have to do with Duggan being our second preference after Pickett?
Or did I misread your post?
