Alot of Vic supporters act if the WA clubs dont even exist and the media could be blamed for it. Theres a lot that barely know about the eagles or dockers(unless their doing well).

The main reason why many SA and WA people barrack for Vic teams is obviously because their families supported them before the WA and SA teams started. On the other hand, the WA and SA teams have only been around for less than 30 years, so not as much chance of that happening for them.

I hope the little vic clubs die out. Too many Vic teams in the comp. There should only be 8-6 clubs in victoria.

Damnit I got excited that we had a vic based WC fan for a moment.

The worst case scenario is that he supports Essendon but rates the tripe anal design from an objective point of view.

If you think that Victoria is bad, try Sydney. If it doesn't concern the Swans or the Giants it didn't happen (including the draft) as far as they are concerned !

Some people barrack for similar colours . My bro inlaw a sfreo fan goes for swans. So dandenong stingrays have wings on their guernseys , similar colours .

I've met about half a dozen authentic Victorian Eagles fans. Typically their family wasn't into footy so they got to choose their own team in the early 90s!

I'm one for the record. Vic born and bred, started playing footy in '89 and my parents didn't really follow footy so I got to choose. New team in town, I liked the wings as a kid (and even more as an adult for the record), and now I'm as passionate as any other Eagles supporter out there.

Pretty stoked about the draft, about as good as we could have hoped for given the picks we had available.

I don't know what to make of Mutimer. Has pace but doesn't use it sounds awfully familiar

Still his highlights look better than Cole, who's video made me feel a bit crook in the guts!

Interesting on the Nelson comparisons. If he sees as much action as Jackson did last year I think the wheels will have fallen off.

I'm similar. SA born, picked Eagles as a youngster when they were winning and had the best colours and guernseys, stuck with them ever since. Live in Vic now too.

I'm a melbournian eagle, but I got into them in the late 90s, can't even recall why, but true my folks know nothing about footy.
