Well done to Ricky Dyson!

I would also like to voice my apologies.

Was his best game by an absolute street!! As has been mentioned, if he can make this match the rule rather than the exception, he will go a long way to proving a lot of people wrong.

Including me.

Great game by Ricky Dyson.

Let's just hope that he continues to show some decent form and doesn't go back to playing the consistently mediocre football he is accustomed to.

Re: R. Dyson

Today against Fremantle was the best performer for us. At least he tried to run through the lines and take the game on unlike any of the other 21 players we had in today. He's had some good performances this year and I think if he can gain some more consistency he'll be a good asset for us rather than the liability many of us thought he perhaps was.

Re: R. Dyson

Always been a huge fan.. Very good game from him today.

Under Knights he is really showing us what he can do. Vital part of this team. Could play a leadership role in a few years.

Just about my only plus out of today's game, shame he has to be in a team where others aren't willing to keep going after some good work.

Keep it up Ricky!

Re: R. Dyson

I rate his game today 7/10

didnt do the greatest defensively

but attacking wise 10/10 RAN, CARRIED (Y)

I wouldn't stress too much about his defensive performance today.

He has been played negative roles in the last 5 or 6 games and was given more more attacking licence today.

Showed some of the other players what sort of running is required on the Subi oval. His kicking seemed to be a bit down, but he ran hard and took bounces running into the F50, which is important on Subi.

I reckon he'll be even better next year. Keep it up Ricky!

A guy who failed to deliver on potential and everyone wanted delisted went on to be given one more chance by the coach and is now a potential B&F.

Not to stir the pot, but could we possibly use this remarkable story to suggest that Nash, Laycock and Jetta could still be very good?

Stories like his and others (Rodan springs to mind) show the potential upside of persevering with players. Problem is we have to get rid of 4, and it's hard to pick who gets a 2nd chance and who doesn't.

Im a North Melbourne Surrporter Guys but what an improver this young lad has been this year!
Just shows what someone can do after being given a little bit more of a go and responsibilty...Well done to the kid! Im a big fan of his.......So too all those guys who wanted Ricky gone not so long back, if this is still the case i would welcome if with open arms to the kangaroos...

Yet again another game this man can hold his head up high, has shown he has more than what it takes to play at this level and has excelled under Knights.

Ricky, I apologise for the last couple of years of doubting you and I now admire your courage and lovely left foot. Here's hoping you continue with the brillaint football you have been producing and are part of number 17.

Well done son, well done.:thumbsu:

He got torched by Bateman at the start and end of the game. Spent a bit of time on some kids in between and only had it 15 times at %60.

Not a great game but did some useful things.

He does look a lot more confident out there and goes in a lot harder but he's still missing that %5 to make him a serious midfielder.

I must agree with your summation.

I noticed that Dyson had trouble at times with Bateman's gut running but saved himself with some quality disposals.

Bateman definitely took the points.

bateman only had 6 touches in the first quarter and that real flukey goal to rickys 5 touches so didnt get smashed at all and in the last he wasnt even on bateman he just happened to be near bateman when rioli got the turnover caused by hocking.

i dont know why you post on here kelvin you have not a clue what your talking about ever!
