Collingwood. I mean, I don't know, why are you asking me? How the hell would I know. I think I finally figured out the stand rule. i mean I couldn't figure out why the AFL would make their umps yell out stand 300 times in 2 hours. It's obviously ridiculous. But I saw a news item last week where this body language expert was trying to explain prince what's his name? Harry? I don't know. I take no interest in that family, i mean, we're in a class war, so obviously anybody who own's a castle should be exterminated. Have you seen the castle of what's her name, Van der Leyen, she let the city build a freeway through a courtyard of her castle. Imagine driving through a castle on the way to your crappy job in the morning. Make your blood boil wouldn't it. Anyway, what's his name, Prince Harry made a masonic hand gesture during a photo shoot last week and the internet blew up. Two fingers hidden in his jacket, and two exposed, and this body language bimbo said he just does it because he finds it comfortable. I mean, yeah right. Anyway it dawned on me that the AFL umpires are probably freemasons, and the stand rule is their humiliation ritual. Of course the Pies are better than Carlton, what a stupid question. I like that Carlton podcast I must admit. If I have a food platter I place it high, like on the bar, or a high table, so the dog can hang out.

Curious, given you have a PHD background in AFL, where does Cameron rank in your list of all ruckman .
Clearly Gawn is on top. Who are your next 5 ?

First thing I saw on Twitter this morning was a Naicos trending topic and greeted to a Collingwood supporter being completely unhinged in his defense. So yeah, do you really want to ask that question?

Pies have the best list in the country by so far it is ridiculous. The depth of this team is remarkable. Blues depth has not been tested yet. So many of top end players yet to miss a game and unfortunately (No I am not wishing injuries on them) the injuries will come.

How many games has Curnow missed?
How many games has Cripps missed?
How many games has McKay missed?
How many games has De Koning missed?
Weitering has only missed a few

Compare that to how many De Goey, Pendlebury, Elliott etc have missed. How would the Blues cope with Curnow, McKay and Cripps all out at once for several weeks?

The three Collingwood players you named aren’t on the same planet as the three Carlton players you named. So it’s not a fair comparison.

A better comparison to your structure would be Nick Daicos, Darcy Moore and I honestly can’t name another Collingwood player who would be near Curnow, McKay or Cripps. So how would Collingwood fair without Nick Daicos and Darcy Moore?

You are right they can’t be compared. The Collingwood players I named all stand up when it counts and win Premierships. And by the way De Goey is Collingwoods most important player to us by a long way. He does it when it counts. Something Curnow could learn.

The fact is that depth is different for every club. They don’t need to be stars or be in the top 10 of a BNF. They just need to play their role. If we win a flag in the next few years, then the lesser lights like Fogarty would be a premiership player the same way that Billy Frampton is. There is no list in the competition with 23 stars.

Saad, Weitering, Walsh, Cerra, McGovern, Cottrell, Martin all spent considerable time out with injury

And our depth hasn’t been tested!?

Tested it has been and we have passed with flying colours, 2nd on the ladder with more improvement in us..

Okay then.

How many games has Nick Daicos missed?
How many games has Josh Daicos missed?
How many games has Jack Crisp missed?
How many games has Darcy Cameron missed?
How many games has Darcy Moore missed?

Thanks for proving my point. Only one of those is in our top 5 important players. Appreciate the support.

Didn't think we had any top end players ( so we keep getting reminded)

Love the comparison between DeGoey and Curnow as they are similar players. Curnow as one of our main forwards did same and more compared to Myercheque or Elliott in finals last year.
Stupid comparison by you.
How come you don't compare like 4 like ? Degoey and Walsh for example?

Play of the day against Melbourne was Moore's 'incidental contact' to Petraccas ribcage. Game over on the spot - also enjoyed an obviously unfit May being run around back and forth and back and forth again like a floppy pupppy he gave up after a quarter and half - smart coaches these ex Brisbane players...

tbh - I think that was the best win Collingwood have had for a while now - totally demolished Melbums all over the park.

Sets up a titanic clash with norfs and a play for second on thee ladder with what will also be a percentage boost on top!

Meanwhile Carlton get to sleep in and prepare to take on Geelong - and add them to the list of faux top4 teams that get the undertaker treatment.

Season is warming up nicely.
