I was on board but
Jones is looking like an absolute bust - how many times did he turn it over lacks any composure 2022 sad but true.

Sloane so poor.

Butts, Murray & Hinge great pick ups.

Pedlar and Gollant in.

out - in.… what I’d like to happen version

mcpherson - sholl
himm - gollant
sloane - Pedlar
ROB - strawnie

sloane sub

out - in… what I think they‘ll do

himm - gollant
mcpherson -sholl

sub to pedlar

which is ****n lame.

sloane was nearly worst on ground today. shoey wasnt much better but i’m willing to see if he can change things up quickly.. I just think sloanes cooked.. the games left him behind and sloane and keays just cannot be in the same team. keays was hot garbage too in that first half but was far better in the second. far better than sloane.

himm is shit. pure and utter shit. geez I wish we could delist him right now..

Yeah Sloane is just a complete negative at this point but he won’t be dropped

I’d go with what most have said. Moose and Himm out, Gollant and Sholl in

B: Brown, Butts, Doedee
HB: Smith, Murray, Milera
C: Dawson, Schoenberg, Sholl
HF: McHenry, Fogarty, Rowe
F: Rachele, Thilthorpe, Gollant
R: ROB, Keays, Crouch
I/C: Hinge, Sloane, Jones, Soligo
Sub: Pedlar

You could go either way to make Pedlar or Soligo the sub, though

I’m not sure they’ll drop EH, I think they’re wedded to the structure.
That might be true if Berg was the preferred chop out ruck, but I don’t remember seeing him the centre once, and if he’s not doing that role then he’s not providing anything that Gollant can’t.

On the Sub, I think Pedlar needs consistent game time but I don’t like dropping debutants either, so I would wait one more week before swapping them.
I would say Cook for sub, but he needs consistent game time too. I would consider Harley for the sub.

Himmelberg attended 2 ruck contests for the game. Thilthorpe attended 14 and 69 for ROB. ROB had 24 CBA's, Thilly had 2 contests at the centre bounce and none for Himmelberg.

Soligo needs to go and play some games in the sanfl. He’s played both practise games and now this one but has only had limited possessions in all 3 and zero impact.

Needs some time racking up disposals in the SANFL. He’s jumped over guys like Pedlar and Cook and I don’t know why. Given he spent some time on the wing, I’d go Cook.

Himmelberg out for Gollant.

Sholl in for McPherson.

Hately as sub.

Gut feel is that they like the height and also the comfort of a 3rd ruck if required. The system requires they be there to make a contest, they could very well be happy with his game.

We need to change our structure and set up our structure to the strengths of our list

With Tex out their is no point playing FOG, RT and Berg, especially when RT can play back up ruck

I would bring in Golant for Berg who gives our forward line a different look, Pedlar to come in for Soligo, who moves to the sub vest, then Schol for McPherson

A forward mix of RT, FOG, Rochelle, Ned, Rowe, Pedlar and Gollant provides good fire power and versatility

That’s the thing that might save him

Even Burns saying this morn small forwards looked dangerous and that might have been because the ball was coming to ground and not being intercept marked

If they think Gollant can provide same contest aerially then it might happen that Himmelberg gets dropped , otherwise not

Well - it would be nice to put someone on Mason Cox.

Considering so called "Spud" Rory Lobb had 6 marks inside 50 for 2 goals 3 behinds and 2 goal assists.
Why would we need Frampton for Cox? He's only 3cm taller than Butts who would be the obvious choice. Collingwood only played two tall forwards last week

Frampton gives us a lot more flexibility.

Will provide the same up forward as Himmelburg (next to nothing).

Could also play a defensive fwd role on Darcy Moore if he starts to dominate. And would also be able to go to Cox if Butts can't go with him.

So you’re playing Frampton up forward despite sucking at it last year? And if we don’t have the confidence Butts can handle Cox we’ve got a problem

If Butts, who is clearly our best defender, can't go with Cox, what makes you think Frampton can?

Well - We need someone to play there other than Himmelberg until Tex gets back. I would prefer Frampton because of his flexibility.

We couldn't handle Lobb yesterday, so yes I would like another option. He was a 'spud' according to many on here, but he was a massive part of why we lost.

Himmelberg showed enough in 3rd quarter. None of he, Thilthorpe or Fogarty played well. Give them all another chance. If Himmelberg can crash packs and work hard like he did in the 3rd quarter it will take a big strain off Thilthorpe going forward.

I’d like to see Cook in for Soligo and Gollant in as sub, with McPherson out.

You've found your new Mackay!
