Isn’t his missis Caris Tivvell a former Miss Australia and from Perth ? Why is she in Adelaide and not Melbourne or Sydney having previously held that Miss Australia title

Nah his missus is Tippah Dwan, just signed for the Thunderbirds.

Delist/Trade/Retire:
Berg, - 6 years in the list hasn’t improved.
Walker - won’t be part of our next premiership tilt
McHenry : he might be better in a better team. I’d cut him lose for his benefit.
Davis: good club man but 6 years on the list and not a regular means it’s time to go
Crouch: our midfield is too same same

In: Dunkley in psd or trade
Best midfielder with our 1st
Best KPF with our second
Best Ruck
Nothing would please me more than snagging an "A" grade player from the doggies via the PSD. Bevo would be so salty it would be delicious.

Question 1 - Why on earth would you think Frampton stays, when Himmelberg is likely to go? Surely Frampton goes, or both go? This makes no sense at all.

Question 2 - Why would another club trade for Crouch in 2022, when they could have had him for free in 2021 - and there wasn't even a nibble (hence why he was re-signed on a cheaper contract)?

We've already been over the stupidity of trading ROB and/or Strachan, and why that won't happen.
Because he was injured and no one had any clue why his form would be like post missing a year of football, or if he'd even recover enough to play again.

At the very least you can see now he's moving well, has no issues finding the pill, he's not a bad player, he's just totally unsuited for our current midfield needs, that isn't necessarily true for other teams though.

I love your sense of patriotism and willingness to support our player.

Yes, he was injured - but that's not why nobody wanted to go near him with a 20 foot barge pole. Yes, he accumulates a lot of touches, but he has zero hurt factor with 90% of those touches. He gets it in the middle, and farms it to someone under even more pressure than himself - instant turnover, even if it's not his turnover on the stats sheet. That's why nobody wanted to go near him.

The problem has always been what happens when he gets the ball.

Dunkley's not an "A" grade player, he's a solid B+ player at the same level as Shiel, Keays, Laird, Adams, etc

I'd love him for nothing, but we do need 2 elite mids, we have enough B grade mids already.

Put million dollar contracts in front of Clayton Oliver and Tim Taranto please.

I think you're on the right track. Now, we should be looking at trading, somehow, a middle-aged star mid in, not just do our best in the draft. Of course, there's no guarantee that would be possible, but we should only be trading in those who would immediately enhance the list.

Those million dollar type players aren't coming to Adelaide until we start to show we have a list capable of competing.

We might have to make it $1.5m then
We have to spend the salary cap on someone! With Tex and Sloane off the books end of next year too, spend it on stars, not more of the same.

Taranto is the same level of player as Dunkley

A lesson I learnt many years ago was...
"Amateurs play for trophies. Professionals play for money".
As supporters, we're all amateurs chasing glory for our team. I think you'll find however, everyone has their price.

Well we should lose the contracts of Sloane, Walker, Seedsman (injury) this offseason. Sloane is contracted, but he shouldnt be.
Ask him to retire.

Tim Taranto is not an A grader either...You must have him mixed up with Josh Kelly.

Taranto gets more of the ball but is a poor user, Dunkley gets it less but uses it better. Similar level overall
And the chances of either landing at the Crows is less than zero, the only fleeting chance with Dunkley is he is currently not contracted for 2023, Taranto is.

Dunkley (along with Dawson) would be the best player in our team if he came across. Dunkley and Will Hayward would be who I would target for starters.

Why Hayward when we have Gollant looking like a player, Brayden Cook can play the Hayward role also and we've just taken on Luke Nankervis on a 2 year deal.

Agree with Sloane and Seedsman. If Walker has any reasonable year, I can see him going again. Our forward personnel is so thin I feel we might need to keep him longer than ideal.

Could be the case. It's a long season, and maybe we will see some improvement from Fogarty and Thilthorpe as it progresses.
It's going to be interesting if we finish last or close to it how we play the PSD and who's available.
