Probably wouldn't take much to get him cancelled.

I’m prepared to tearfully take the witness stand:

“I’d just finished my steak and… I’d just finis—sorry.”

— “Take your time, Mr. Tribey”

exhales through pursed lips. thankyou, your honour… I’d just finished my steak when the defendant said, on mic, ‘it’s time for the handball comp—’”

—— “OBJECTION, hearsay”

— “Denied! Counsellor, was there or was there not a handball competition?”

—— “there was, your honour”

— “the witness will continue his testimony”

Not to generalise, and I’m aware there are noted exceptions — specifically around here — but what it is with that generation of fan?

...
I'm probably of that generation of fan and I don't get it either.

I was sitting opposite a female fan of similar vintage on the train home from last week's game and she was reading some Facebook page, may have been the club's or old mate Ken Oath's, and she was commenting on all the negative posts with the standard list of happy clapper respones.

No way was the loss Hinkley's fault and people needed to "get real" as it was only one game. I know short term memory loss can be a thing for people of my vintage but these people genuinely seem to reset every week.

Pack your bags you absolute POS
Words can’t express the hate of Hinkley but the joy that this will inevitably lead to a new coach

PS love Boak but he will only ever be an OK player. A good player kicks that every time.
