Did Ken buy a season ticket to get in to watch the game?

The derby has always seemed several levels lower in terms of rivalry
That's because WA is a vision of an alternate universe where West Coast are the Crows and Freo are Southern Power.

You can't have an intense rivalry when both clubs are manufactured franchises but one club is so clearly superior to the other. The Washington Generals don't have a fierce rivalry with the Globetrotters.

If the Dockers had managed to win the first Durrby against all the odds it might've generated something genuine, but they lost the first nine of them, so nup.

I was seriously entertained watching Paddy Ryder in the Saints game against Richmond. He played alright, but it was watching him basically spectate after almost every first effort that was funny. He'd tap the ball and a pack would form and Paddy would just watch, looking for all the world like he was thinking Should I go in too? Nah there's enough guys there, it might come out anyway.

Or he would offer a lead, realise the ball wasn't coming and decide Nah it's too hard and just stroll back.

Even when the push and shove broke out he watched for a while then eventually strolled over and grabbed a Richmond player's jumper, probably told the guy You don't want to waste effort here.

At the three quarter time break he looked like he was falling asleep.

Sydney Swans ruckman Peter Ladhams is set to debut this weekend when the Swans face North Melbourne at the SCG.

Speaking to the media this morning, senior coach John Longmire confirmed fellow ruckman Tom Hickey is set to spend time on the sidelines after being ruled out for six weeks with a medial strain following the Round 3 clash with the Western Bulldogs.

Longmire has no idea fancy playing a back up Ruckman in a real game.
Everyone knows once a ruck goes out that gives you a chance to play an extra small. 🤣

The hero is due to return

Whatever one might think about Taylor Walker the person, in what way is deciding whether to drop Darcy Fogarty averaging 7 disposals and 0.66 goals a game for Walker a 'huge selection call'? It's the most obvious selection call in the history of selection calls.

They won’t play Tex in Melbourne for his comeback.
Agree, they'll want Tex's redemption game to be a home game so that the adoring fans can all get around him after he was unfairly accused of racism.
