Assuming we move Seeds to the inactive list , during the supplementary draft period worth having a crack at Caleb Poulter ?
Think about a player delisted after initial 2 year Contract .....and then, not even getting a rookie contract by any of 18 Clubs ......and you think we should chase Poulter ?

Then again I'm biased, as my views on Poulter were known B4 he was Drafted

I see on Wikipedia that Butts and Strachan were promoted the main list. I hadn't seen that in the press so wondering if correct. Is Murray is still a rookie listed player? I suppose that will happen when Seedman goes. Are we maxed out on our lists?

my understanding is we're full. Seed and Fish can go onto LTI list but I guess that can't be replaced until the mid season draft.

Thanks. That list has a R next to Murray.

Adelaide has finalised changes to its list ahead of this month’s National Draft.

Fourth-year rookies Jordon Butts and Kieran Strachan will both be elevated to the Primary List in line with league rules.

The Club has also advised Paul Seedsman and Andrew McPherson they will both be delisted but has committed to reselecting them in the Rookie Draft.

You wrote Murray is not rookie listed. Is that correct.

I just asked earlier if Murray was on the rookie list atm.
The footywire list you put up has a R next to his (Murray) name. Thats all.
He can stay on the rookie list for 3 years, it's reverted back from the 4 years (Covid) is my understanding.

He’s still a rookie. Our rookies (cat A) are him, Parnell, Seed and Moose
Most Clubs have deleted the Rookie category .....merged team lists on websites as one list

The AFL is behind the times with their categorisation ......only difference these days is one-year Contracts .....but Clubs now don't differentiate, its a list of 44

Not really too many differences style wise IMO, outside leaning mids/wingers/forwards, if anything Dowling more versatile with better endurance and footy I.Q.
Does Dowling remind of Dawson's path in the AFL .....similar stature, no initial standout game feature ... and Dawson was #56 in the 2015 Draft

My recollection of Dawson as a junior was he was more a 3rd tall forward type than a midfielder?

Just had a look on youtube to see if there was anything pre-draft.

But we wouldn’t we see his long term future as an inside mid?
Seems to be the type who can be inside & outside midfielder... but obviously early days.

I'm not seeing at the very least I'm seeing him as an inside/outside mid that works between the arcs on everything I've seen thus far. Hugh Bond is your inside mid with an already well developed inside contested hard edge and defensive mojo about him.

I'd think long term we'd see Berry and Bond as our inside hard tackling extractors, they both tackle with real venom.

Compare Bond's Nationals contested/uncontested with those of Dowling remembering Bond played almost all of his footy in defence locking down on the oppo's dangerous small/medium forwards at the Nationals, Dowling much more in the midfield.

Could bond have actually been recruited more as a tagger more than a back pocket/ball winning mid?

LDU made us look bad in that last game and we clearly near someone that can just shut a mid down who is out of control. berrys dramatic rise would make them reticent to put him in a pure lockdown role.

Absolutely but I doubt that's the plan for him, I think he's going to surprise some with his work rate and hardness.
