Oh man, he would self combust.
lol i can hear it now, how he would hit the media about lines crossed, personal threats, legal avenues etc.

It's almost as if winning a premiership creates some opportunities after football.
What a shame that all we have now is a group of dog breeders.

That Ebert never got to dedicate a premiership to JMac still burns for me, as does the Hawthorn game last year and the latest joke prelim performance.
Is it August yet?

And yeh I know I missed a few.

I wouldn't put it beyond Soft Koch to roll Josh Carr into the senior coaching job and keep Hinkley on contract as a mentor/senior assistant.

Ah! If I were stupidly rich, I would hire a plane to fly over AO on game days with a sign:

“GTFO OF PAFC, KOCHIE”

The comments by the players this year prove we ain't making finals.

The playing group has no confidence and no answers except for the scripted ones
I was at the Collingwood game and there were periods when I said to myself “we aren’t even trying”. When that happens there is only one reason and then one result. The players don’t want their current coach and said coach will be gone sometime soon. It’s from the classic playbook of when players want to be rid of their coach and they want a new one. This playbook has been used for all sports all over the world.

I'd like to see a few of these popping up at the ground.

That would be a wet dream for Koch.
Hinkley will be on the 1st train out of town once gone and if not a senior job somewhere certainly a senior assistant. Victoria love him.

I have an inkling that if enough supporters to be heard on the tv and radio broadcasts at our next home game continually chanted `Koch is a w***er' in unison, it would be more effective than any chant aimed at just hinkley.

I suspect the kokmeister is silly enough to believe he is still universally loved by the majority of Port supporters and the `white noise' brigade are just a minority of disgruntled feral types, so anything that dented his ginormous ego publicly could have a positive effect on his eventual removal from the president's role.
If Port fans ruin Koch's image and he is seen as a loser, someone without a football brain, more of a selfish politician type, a tyrant, incompetent, a narcissist, a spiv, running an unaccountable boys club, goes against the ethos of Port that made us great, not about winning but getting my friend's safe jobs, actually hates his members, stability of mediocrity over winning, a man of little substance, if that gets out into the public, he will leave as all he cares about is his image.

This is the contrast in values. Port only cares about winning and sacrificing for the love of the game while Koch is in it for himself.

There is a distinct possibility that underneath it all he actually hates the values of the club. I know that sounds strange but that is what it seems.

Who does not hold that image of him at the moment? I doubt even the AFL think he's good for the club. He's there for their interests, not ours.

Other clubs don't give a crap. Other clubs' fans think he is a dick, amongst most of the other things.

To the media, he is one of them. It takes a lot for them to go against class-interest.

Aahhh. So there are actually 4 teams below us?
Didn't realise we were such outstanding achievers!
What a bunch of champion players and coaches.
Sign Ken for another 4 years asap :sneaky:
There are only 4 teams below us because it includes qualifying finals.

If we're talking knockout finals - ie actual pressure games, then no team has done worse than us over the last 8 years.

The Victorian media doesn't love Hinkley, they just love him being at Port.

*side note - when I typed "Hinkley" just then my thumb accidently his the B next to the N and auto-correct changed his name to hillbilly.

Josh Mahoney is the General Manager of Football at Essendon - he could be a future CE candidate.

There seems to be a guerilla war going on between him and Dodoro.

Since 2015

Port - 0 Coaches
St Kilda - 3 Coaches
Carlton - 4 Coaches
Essendon - 4 Coaches
Gold Coast - 3 Coaches

That's stability for you.

Want a stat that will chafe your crack?

Of Hinkley's 127 H&A wins, 30% have come from these 4 sides alone.

He is a false economy fraud of a coach who has cashed in on a win rate of 80% against the only 4 worse performing clubs than ours.

I yelled out sack ken during the second quarter of the Lions game and everyone around me looked at me with death stares. Then after the game heard a couple murmuring "should we still sack him"........ WTF!!

Since I had that matter-of-fact exchange with a peanut a couple of rows in front me after he attempted to condemn me to Tingles-Hades amidst the loss to Richmond in 2017,

Richmond: 3 flags
West Coast: 1 flag
Melbourne: 1 flag
Geelong: 1 flag

I bet he’s probably still as pro-Ken as ever, too.

The number of Port people who can’t spot a trend, let alone think to consider what it means for the future, baffles me.

Unfortunately I think this is going to drag out for months, there will be a few floggings and we will beat a few bottom dwellers.
But by the end of it Koch and Hinkleys reputations will be trashed. That’s the only positive I can see out of this debacle.

If it starts to go south and the noise grows who knows, we may get a Koch and Ken chat to do the right thing.

Someone should make a chart of Stinkleys win:loss percentage so we could see how much it has dropped since the start of 2022 and we can update it each week this year as it falls.
