Sorry to change the subject from team selection but does anybody know if this game is sold out? I tried to redeem my codes on Ticketek without any luck. I notice that on Ticketek that both games at AO that day is being sold as one event. Does that mean it is sold out because 4 sets of fans are getting tickets for the same event?
I had same issue - will be sold out and probably with 50% neutrals

Someone forgot to order their tickets

Nah, got them it’s a genuine choice :), can’t be arsed with the fuss with the neutrals, not having my usual seat (as if the Covid years and finals weren’t annoying enough for that).

Also don’t want to be sat there annoyed at Stinkley of course :).

Yikes. Not sure why there's so much negativity here for this game
Longest serving coach of ALL TIME to have not made at least a GF.

Even your man is copping heat, but he's been around less time and taken you to a flag and another GF.

Burton for Farrell seems the easy change.

Been calling for DBJ to play forward for about 2 years and he looked solid when he came on so he keeps that role as sub. Although poor, Rioli missed a couple gettable goals and on another day he easily could have ended with 3 so he can stay starting for mine.

Realistically we need more height down back against the dogs but we don’t have anyone else so can’t see any other changes happening unless Lycett is dropped for Georgi and Dixon/Fin ruck.

The problem with replacing Lycett for Hayes is that while you may get a lift in hitouts, you'll get the same lack of impact around the ground. And given we have been pretty good in clearances this year, I don't think HOs are the problem we need to address.

As much as I'm not sold on Teakle making it, he can take a good grab and is quite athletic - so I'd be interested in giving him a couple of games and seeing if he can be a nuisance taking some grabs as the spare behind play.

Also, for people calling for DBJ to play forward - that experiment will end the same way Sam Gray did. Neither of them are small forwards, and they don't have goal sense.

Whether its Teakle, Dante or Hayes, I just want to see us start to develop someone (for me its Hayes > Dante > Teakle but that's just my preference).

The only reason you play a 30 year old with declining output over other options is if they are definitively better than the other options, or if you are right on the cusp of a flag and want the experience there so you can strike while the iron is hot. Neither of those things are true.

Oh for sure, I just don't think swapping Hayes for Lycett effects a change in how we play. Teakle/Dante absolutely have the potential to do that - I'm just less sure of them in the ruck.
