I agree, but if he gets selected following that performance, I don’t want to hear anyone from the selection committee bleating on about integrity in the selection process.Oh yeah I watched him too and he wasn’t great. I just like new blood it’s fun.
He’s not defensive enough to play a JL wing role, it’s okay in the backline but being a responsible winger is a harder job mentallyWhen is Jlo going to give Jordan Clark a run on the wing? He can take a contested mark. Lay a tackle. Runs both ways. Can pinpoint a leading target. Loves to hoof a goal on the run, and has a tank. Seems a perfect wingman. What am I missing here?

if only there was a person just like Walker but had skills at HHF.I agree. I think he is too nervous at the moment down back. Confidence shattered in the Pies final and still struggling.
He is a decent size too at 186cm. Can compete in the air.
Put Walker forward and if he shows something, then maybe look at a Luke Teal for example as a lockdown small defender in the MSD (yes, I know we need forwards/mids, but putting that aside and looking at the issues with Wilson/Walker/Wagner).
Oh I agree, I was just trying to explain what I think is Justin’s POV on the issue, Aish is one of his favourites too, he’s been down all season with impunityIt's not like Aish was keeping his opponent in check. Let him kick 3 goals. Both wingers repeatedly left their opponents hanging free outside congestion in the Bulldogs forward line, while Aish and Hughes went into the stoppage to increase numbers around the ball. Woeful tactics and if that's what JL wants from his wings, then he has no idea.
Clark is used to playing in the backline and could be far more accountable (if necessary) than the likes of Hill and Daicos. Having said that, I wouldn't even bother too much with defense and just let him off the leash like those other guys. I believe he has the tools to be an AA level attacking wingman.
I find it so frustrating playing high end creative talent in Young, Clark and Chapman all in defense at once. Maybe rotate 1 or 2 there, but I'd be giving all of them considerable time in the midfield.
Young should get CBA's in my opinion. He's hard at it, strong over the contest and the most damaging kick on our list. Too often we "win" clearance with dicky kicks to HFF or a wing. From the same spot Young could be driving us 30m out and giving our forwards a real decent go at it.It's not like Aish was keeping his opponent in check. Let him kick 3 goals. Nice 10 goal loss coming up!!Jeez if Erasmus and Draper come in we'd have to be getting close to our youngest ever fielded team?
Yeah don’t mind that at all. Problem is, he is probably too valuable for JL down back at the minute. When is Jlo going to give Jordan Clark a run on the wing? He can take a contested mark. is draper a forward or back? I know nothing
Brayshaw didn’t get through training.
