With the greatest respectand while we all rightly revere everyone that pulls on our clubs jumper I think even Josh himself would reject the comparison.

Although he is certainly proving himself as a midfield coach (boy does he have lots to work with btw) he doesn't have the 'golden boy' status that Buckley, Hird or Mitchell did.

Josh was a very good player & hard as nails, do you expect us to care what a Victorian with shite in his eyes thinks? Peak Josh Carr walks into every Hawthorn premiership side in the last 15 years.

Josh Carr went 10-0 in showdowns and was part of our first and only AFL premiership. Relatively speaking (given Port hasn't had much AFL success) he is absolutely on the level of any of those blokes.
