Most if not all would have been happy with him staying and those that did want him gone were more keen on not losing Mitchell to Collingwood rather than calling for Clarko s blood as such.

One more very important thing to remember is making a GF and losing feels if anything far worse than just making up numbers.
And three quarters of the premierships in Ken's time in the job have been won by just three clubs.

I reckon the best thing to do is back your coach in for the next few seasons and hope for the best rather than eating yourselves up over a bit of bad luck a few years back.

Honestly I don't like the fact we've extended Ken, before finals, and I just can't for the life of me comprehend how the vibe would be if we go out in straight sets here.

It was always going to be hard to sack him after we have had such a good start to the year. Especially with the August timeline, but geez if we've gone early again, and we crash from here then we'll be once again stuck in the same recurrent nightmare we've been in for years.

At least that's several hundred I can starting planning to put towards other things in 2024 and 2025. Looks like my return to Membership is at least delayed to 2026 (it's already going from the 11 game Platinum(s) I always had to a 3 game membership, I've gotten too used to weekends not centered around Port to go back to a full membership), if I'm not beyond hope, even when the stink finally is washed from the club.
