The concern with being up so long as well is that eventually without quality draft picks coming in, like every team we will start to decline. It is a matter of time. We can already see the huge list concerns we have, Key backs, ruck, small forwards, outside mids. There's issues all over the park that aren't getting resolved without draft picks unless we score some short term options via cheap trades or FA pickups.

Going roper dope on this one (collingwood model) and playing more numbers behind the ball to firm up our defence, then gut run and slingshot. Id start Finlayson on a wing at the deepest defensive end of the square with a view to getting back if we lose centre. Finlayson can play the old Westhoff role as a defensive interceptor and drift forward if where winning stoppages. We will lose this, if its an open free running shootout.
