Hello Eagles fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

Keys you may like to sticky this post & move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread if you have one.

Yep and you had to edit this post which is quite remarkable in itself considering. What weren't you happy with here that you needed to edit it hahah.

Sounds like we were very close to getting Robertson but

He wants to earn a spot in a premiership side

Fair enough. It’s not like he was unhappy in Brisbane so it was always going to be difficult. Think we did well just to get as close as we did to bringing him across

Any see Barretts sliding doors this morning???

I'd love to punch him right in the face sometimes

Saw it. Was mildly triggered, the realised he is the main proponent of the media campaign to get us to trade pick 1.

His ‘hot take’ lacked so much thought and context that it does increase the already high confidence that he literally has no idea regarding anything West Coast.

Basically we have landed 2 out of 3 trade/FA target players, the one we missed just played in a GF lost by less than a goal. Pretty clear reason why he chose to stay (also interesting that it is ‘only’ a 2 year deal… but of course that wasn’t highlighted).

As usual, media negativity is more a positive than negative for us. When backs are slapped too much we get too comfortable, bring on the negativity I say!

If it’s not English next year, not sure who we are going to spend money on. Might as well cash in on a pick upgrade.

Logan McDonald.

Obviously can use the extra space to attract other role players like Hunt, Brockman and Flynn types without using the 'war chest' for a FA.

Then again it will be interesting to see how the Dogs 8 year deal for Naughton pans out. It seems like the right call when contending but we all know how that can work out. He's 9nly 23 not 28 though.

I was told Harley sat out his 2km time trial at the beginning of the year.....BC...."Harley does what Harley wants to"

They don't do the 2km trial in the Coates League testing day, they do the YoYo.

He has a YoYo result on the testing data.

He ran a 520, which is below average/poor. 650-750 is the Coates League average, 900+ is elite.

Reid - 520
Duursma - 640
McKercher - 960
Sanders - 840

For reference last year, the elite runners of the group were Sheezel and Hollands

Sheezel - 1040
Hollands - 1045

They use the YoYo in lieu of the beep test as you are able to calculate a players VO2 Max, as there's a proven converted formula from a USA academic study.

I always felt, no insight or reason, that Dev would stay. Brisbane are a tight club and were only two umpiring stuff ups from beating GWS in the GF.

IF
the Hawks are serious about pick 1

THEN
the offering of pick 3, a future R1 and Brockman needs to have added to it Cam McKenzie and a swap of pick 30 for some points picks

I expect that offer will not be accepted but it gets a lot closer
I would only take the Hawks picks for - 3+F1 (3-9) + one of Newcombe/Day/Lewis.
That's the Godfather offer.

Other players but I'd want a bit more picks wise
Nash
Ward
MacKenzie
