You are, but we are also allowed to be critical of it, especially when it contrasts with 2 highly credentialled AFL coaches
and Im not stopping you Im just defending a well formed view from digging a bit.

im all for getting him and if its a trade for berg (seems too good to be true) then brilliant. still not 100% hes best 22 but we see.

if its pick 25 im so so

Its a very weird hill to die on.

The premiership coach and a top 4 coach both say he is the best player on the ground.

He had 1 touch in the backline during the first quarter as the Lions took a 31-2 lead at QTR time. Then he moved to the middle in the 2nd quarter and had the most Clearances, most Centre Clearances, most tackles, 3rd most Inside 50's, 2nd most Contested possessions. All whilst going at 75% DE.

And old mate says he didnt have an impact because he only got 83 fantasy points.
Ummm I was talking about Wanganeen-Milera.... We were discussing who else people would have taken at pick 6 in the Rachele draft??

The Berg is a free agent, can't see him effecting their Cumming/Perryman compo surely?

How does the compo work, it would be a nothing pick anyhow?
I think Hodgy is correct .
Reckon it is a simple if you get a free agent in you lose a compo for one going out.
Not 100% on it though
Pretty much this.

All though GWS wouldn’t lose full compensation but it would be watered down from say band 2 to band 4. Not sure how it looks with 2 players going out but one would be affected rather than both I am assuming.

So trading Berg and a pick for Peatling will see GWS get full compo for Cumming and Perryman

If that stops them losing their compo then reid has done the right thing not delisting anyone yet.

he is but not sure of the loss of compo rule for picking up a DFA.

would be better if it was EH and F3 for Peating or something
I don't know what the latest is with EH but the media seemed to think he had an offer from the Suns he was looking to take up, of coarse Luko going or staying could feed into that too.

He actually spoke about this on the radio today. Apparently he only mentioned his desire to leave for Brisbane to Dew after the trade period had ended, so the only way to facilitate the move was via a delisting. Perhaps that's just the polite story, but I thought it was interesting.

Yeah not really the case.

Dew dropped him a few times after big stat games, he didn't rate what Lyons brought and thought he didn't spread from stoppages
