Maybe adopting the Chris Grant look? In r21, 2005 (yes, the Wayde Skipper/Jeff White BS-free kick game that cost us finals in Rocket's first year), Chris Grant looked like a helmeted mummy playing in defence, had a cheekbone(?) fracture and tape everywhere!
Edit: found a photo... looks like a Marvel character!

If JOD gets up you’d think it’s likely just the one change with Khamis coming in for Cleary.
Personally think we need another tall up forward (Croft) but if he had a niggle last week they may not pull that trigger.

I’d probably just move Freijah to defence to cover Cleary and bring Jones into the 22.
Jones can play wing and I would move West or Harmes into the midfield rotation until we get Treloar & Bont back.
There’s not a heap of other options. Baker or Poulter could also be options.

Personally, I'd tell them to walk up to their opponent before the first bounce, avoid shaking hands, and just say:

With Garcia unavailable I think West needs a bigger run in the middle. Especially with Vanders and McNeil performing well.

He was never close, he has been injured all preseason. He now has do a block of training to prepare him for the season.
Bev said Bont is 3 weeks away yet the medical says he’s 4-6.
Our injury list has always been a guessing game.
