Carnival Legend is currently being "Australian-ised" and will be doing cruises from Sydney later this year, along with the Carnival Spirit. Can't speak highly enough of the Carnival Spirit. Had such a great time (even though it was with the in-laws).

Personally, I don't care if my kids are invited. Sometimes it's nice to enjoy a night out without them. And Dad can muck about a bit if he wants (within reason).
