Always thought of the Scum as a bunch of dirty snipers, but they're barely trying to hide it anymore. Hope Sydney absolutely smash them in the second half.
1989, 2002, 2005, 2009, 2010 Game 1, 2016.
As a Hawks supporter, highly rate 2008 and 2014.
I've been told 2012 was a great one, but for some strange reason, I don't seem to remember it...
Hope Clarko wields the axe next week. Far too many passengers getting by on the back of past performances. Cut the dead weight and bring in blokes with some bloody ticker.
Ditto; and though as a Hawks fan I'm sad about the loss, as a footy fan I'm totally thrilled to see the Grand Final this year, and reckon that the prelim this year should be an awesome game!
One approach I do like is when a coach uses a young mid as a tagger; no better way to get them to learn off of the competition's best than to see what they're doing right. Al Clarkson's done it with players like Liam Shiels and Will Langford with reasonable success.
1989 was up there (even though it was before my time), but in terms of games I was alive for, would have to go with 2009. Close from start to finish with plenty of memorable moments, just a really good advertisement for the game. The first game of 2010 was up there too, wish it had ended that...
The SoftEng course at Monash features a full-year project with a client in final year, and that's really the major factor in my wanting to transfer. At this stage, I'm leaning towards transferring and doing the extra year, since I think it'd be pretty helpful for my future prospects. Thanks for...
Hi all,
I'm a final year Computer Science student at Monash, and am thinking about transferring into Software Engineering at the same university, which would allow me to graduate at the end of 2015. I find the software engineering side of IT significantly more interesting than the computer...
He's Ablett without a lot of things, really...
Malthouse, if he's not already legendary, should be pretty bloody close.
Out of the rest, I'd say Clarkson might have a chance to be seen in that light, if he can take Hawthorn to another flag or two. You'd make a case for Lyon if he'd actually...
2011 Prelim is the first one that comes to mind; just when I'd got the feeling that Collingwood mightn't run over the top of us, the unthinkable happened.
2009, Round 22 was another shocker. Remember thinking that if we'd got the win, maybe there was still a chance. Then the hit happened on...
His best is bloody good, but that's not the scariest thing about him. No, it's more that he's been at this level for 7-8 years straight. Guy's an absolute freak of nature.
For those that missed it, the interview's here.
I think Bomber just looks worn down. He's the interim coach of the most maligned club in the league at the moment, and he has to shepherd a group of young men, a quarter of whom were listed as drug takers by the Herald Sun, through a season of...
Another question to ponder; if a player is named as a sub and not used, does that game count to their game tally, considering they hadn't actually taken to the field?
Sydney had lost their last 11 games to Collingwood (going all the way back to 2005!) before beating them in last year's prelim and winning the premiership. The extra week will do us good, we'll be fine.
Hawks by five goals. Spangher to come in as an emergency and kick seven goals ;)
King will keep hanging out with Mitchell, and Richmond won't give a stuff. They're just telling him to cut the ties publicly so they don't risk sponsorship issues and because all AFL players are meant to be upstanding citizens.
This won't change a thing, and Richmond'll turn a blind eye so...
