We're actually doing number 1 in our league this year. Everyone has their own preference.
We also have captains - it definitely rewards the person at #1.

This is going to be grotesquely unfair. If you're in the bottom few may as well just quit and save yourself the time. Snake is the only fair method.

Hi guys,
Looking to work out a decider for draft order for a 12 man league. Last year we used order of pizza delivery and beer pong.. struggling to come up with better ideas this year.
Share what you've done in draft leagues?

lol he was 3rd in my count = top 3. I said I wouldn't be surprised if Judd polled well enough in the final couple months.
Brownlow actual:
Gibbs 9
Murphy 9
Simpson 8
Judd 7.
Prediction fairly close, Gibbs underpolled. He has polled 15 and 12 votes in prior years in much poorer years.
Rob Gray was never going to poll past 15 or so. No history of polling, never been noticed before. Wasn't a clear stand out in many games at all. He was a classic media pony.
Gibbs on the other hand has polled previously, and was a class above in many Carlton games this year.
I always had...
Where are all the heroes that were saying Gray was going to win/Gray was going to top 5 easily/Gray was going to beat Boak?
If he has a similar year next year he will poll more strongly, but Boak is a stud. Team spread is good too
Some notes:
Polling history is critical to polling ability.
SJ 3 votes round 4. Tipped that.
Boak > Gray. counted gray for 15 - actually polled 14. Had Boak for 19 - Polled 21.
Selwood and Cotch nowhere near the money this year. Selwood polled especially poorly compared to what year he had...
gee whiz 8 votes when he racked up touch after touch every week! he has been a serial underpoller his whole career....
i will be surprised if he is top 5
the "brownlow king" will be on the footy show tonight. Who will he plug this year? Hopefully some value created again by his comments as it did last year
I like this bet as a semi hedge. Put some coin on Bonti to win the rookies group..with just 2 or 3 votes.
I really like: Daisy to poll ($3), Watts to poll ($2.75)
Like a bit: Kornes not to poll ($3.20, I have him with 1 vote)
I only said he had no chance of taking our most votes ;)
I love Murph. Gibbs had a stunning year though - he has been crunched after opening ~1.66 for Carlton most votes. Gibbs mid-teens.
lol don't get your knickers in a knot ladies. Just passing on something I've heard from insiders. Didn't say it would effect his polling, but who knows?
lol this
Completely agree with this analysis. Really like him as a player and have for some time.
Heard Heppell isn't liked too much at the club.
I have BJ and Heppell tied on 14. More upside to Heppell in terms of polling, but more value for BJ.
i'll be next to you doing the same
Breakout players tend to be largely off the umpires radar & have less star vote-pulling power during the breakout season
Murphy will not go near Carlton top 3 pollers. Gibbs > Simpson > Judd for me, however Judd could easily come second.
Yes and no.. This year is one of his best ever seasons, if not the best. I give him the polling potential near his previous best in 2007.
Only have Treloar around 5 votes or...
