It is definitely allowed. In 2012 for example Stringer never did any endurance testing at the combine or repeat sprinting, but was done privately. The club was reasonably happy with the results given his injury obviously. Macrae tested very poorly in the endurance and repeat sprints at the...
I had to laugh at this, you haven't seen this thread...

Good times. Time for a re-open?
In Jones, Darley, Roberts, Higgins
Out Redpath, Wallis, Roughead, Cooney
Sorry I just don't see it with Redpath. Doesn't offer anywhere near enough offensively to combat his defensive work rate. His opponent ran off him all day.
Roughead should be put on ice until the rest of the season. I saw...
Wasn't there strong rumours Talia had some off field issues? Plus from what I can gather, Roberts has been the better performed defender all year and even he can't get a game.
Heard we are very keen on Brayshaw. He's quick, has time of under 2.90 seconds over 20m, neat skills and an excellent work rate. I dare say we would take him if available.
Not sure we are as keen on Durdin as some, but I could be wrong.
But you can certainly see the reason for not playing Honeychurch. The step up from VFL to AFL is pretty significant and playing a top team makes it all that more difficult. I think it makes sense to ease them in against a lower placed side if we can.
Well done Bonts, you'll be a star.
Good to see Joel Corey get another mention as well, by my count that's 4 player's which have made special mention of him. Been a great pick up.
Looks like he had 26 disposals in both his finals appearances in 2012. That's good going for a 20 year old.

Disagree on Pendlebury. If the Cooney and Hannebery incidents are anything to go by, he should be fine. He was bending over to pick the ball up or at least made it look that way. The Jones incident was totally different, he wasn't going for the ball.
Apparently he was expelled from school. On the field he gets the sooks when things aren't going his way as well.
On top of that there's a big question mark on what his role will be at the next level. He's not really a midfielder or key forward ala Jack Watts. He will more then likely end up as...
I really liked Honeychurch before the draft, but I'm still not sure how we can fit all of Dahlhaus, Hunter, Hrovat, Smith and Honeychurch in the side (Tutt as well if he happens to make it). Not a bad problem to have I guess, it will at least give us some good depth.
Paid very close attention to him. Didn't get a lot of it, but when he did he didn't waste it. Looked like he was on a pretty good opponent in Scipione as well and he didn't do much.
