I know you were trying to make your draft different to others wich is good, But Bailey has said that we will be taking one of Watts, Naitanui or Rich at pick #1 so that kinda rules out Vickery.....
Well done on trying something a little different though.:thumbsu:
Actually Prismall's manager said he would be happy to go to either club.
MELBOURNE has emerged as the possible future home of Geelong midfielder Brent Prismall, as the Cats weigh up deals with the Demons and Essendon.
Day three of AFL trade week passed yesterday with the first deal still...
Theres been alot more pumping up of Naitanui by WCE supporters than MELB supporters pumping up Watts.
Although Whelan=Legend has been pumping up Watts alot lately.:D
What makes you think that? Because he wouldn't be playing against "men"? He didn't dominate the U-18 carnival so why would he dominate the TAC cup?
I don't know whether you've noticed or not but the WAFL is mostly made up of washed up former AFL players from W.A, "Grown men" who wern't...
I think alot of people underate Cale Morton's pace, Because he is actually quite quick....
And also if Stephen Hill is there at pick 17 we have to take him, I think he would be a perfect fit in our side and would add alot of pace to the midfield.:thumbsu:
Actually iv'e been told Watts weighed in at 87-88kg, Wich would be about right considering he was weighed at 85-86kg earlier in the year when he was 2cm shorter. And Naitanui weighs 93kg so he is only 5-6kg heavier
And any way wouldn't him weighing more give him more momentum? Because if you...
He'll play as many games as he wants as long as his form is good, The only thing school will effect is his training.
Maric and Ward(bulldogs) were doing year 12 and both played this year and the only reason they didn't play more is because of their form.
Has anyone else noticed that since WC fans have realised there more likely to take Naitanui than Rich they've stopped talking up Rich and started defending Naitanui?....:p
Your dead wrong, GC don't get any picks in the draft until 2010.:thumbsu:
And also if we take Vickery i will shoot myself!!!
But i highly doubt we will, I think prentigast is just trying to throw people off the sent.(the sent of Jack Watts that is):D
I reckon Watts will be top 3-5 in the 20m sprints and the verticle leap.
And Stephen Hill will probably be top 3 in the beep test and 3km time-trial, and will probably be top 5-10 in the 20m sprints.(IMO)
Re: WALF Grand Final
What are you talking about?
Watts won the Larke Medal playing in the same comp as Rich and Nic Nat, So why would they be able to "get a touch" in the WAFL but not Watts?
and your example of Hawkins is pointless because he had a big physical advantage over every one...
Have you seen Naitanui play?
He has a good mark, his kicking is just as good if not better than most ruckman, he's an extremely good handballer And he uses his body very well. The one thing he really needs to learn is where to position himself around the ground when he doesn't have the ball...
melbourne has already ruled out trading our #1 pick so you FAIL.:thumbsd: And Ash Hansen is a hack and we wouldn't want him so you FAIL again.:thumbsd:
They have a big skills session on the last day of draft camp and all the recruiters and coaches go and watch it, so that is probably the closest thing to testing there football smarts...
Watts also has all those things, plus awesome overhead marking, football smarts(timeing his lead, positioning. ect..) and he can kick set shots from outside 50. And Watts is also a very confident player who always backs himself wich is very important for a forward(IMO).
Why should we take...
